    If the developmental period of 2+ years is communicated with recruits and they’re ok with it, I don’t see how bringing in a one and done vet at their position would be problematic. Texas will need to land at least one big time transfer prospect on offense this cycle like they did in previous years.

    Of course, Texas controls its own destiny and a 10-2 season would lock them in to the CFP. However, if they end up 9-3 they’ll need some help. What games are most important this week? I’m watching Tech vs BYU and Georgia vs Miss St.

    Maybe I’m interpreting this wrong, but based on condition B we’d be tied with Ole Miss (1-1 record vs Georgia and Florida) Condition C would kick in and give us the advantage for beating the higher ranked common opponent (Georgia). Condition A, which is prioritized, would give us the nod over A&M? This screenshot is from 2024 so not sure if they changed the rules.

    Assuming both teams win out I think we’d have the tiebreaker over Ole Miss. Common opponent would be Georgia who is ranked higher than Florida. Alabama would have 0 conference losses so they’d get in outright.

    If Texas beats Georgia and Arkansas, the A&M game would likely be a repeat of last year with the winner going to the SEC championship.

    Wingo had a dislocated thumb which was popped back into place. McDonald suffered a concussion. Both should be good to go vs Georgia assuming McDonald passes protocol.

    Aside from the end of the first half the defense was called beautifully. Why go away from what’s been working all game?

    Defense was great until the 4th quarter. Why does PK move to super soft coverages whenever we get a decent lead? Has caused multiple teams to come back against us the last few years.

    Regardless who starts, Texas has to establish some sort of run game in order to win. I don’t think the team can afford to go into crisis mode like they did the last 2 weeks.

    Mark Orphey is the new DB coach. Not sure what’s being taught but the 10 yard cushions on 3rd and short + struggles defending crossing routes remind me a lot of the 2023 secondary.

    The Rockets are also expected to start 4 players who are 6’11 with 6’7 Amen Thompson at PG. Come a long way from starting PJ Tucker at center lol

    Sucks to see. I thought he played well in short yardage situations and was hoping Sark would use him more. Maybe that’s Simon’s role in the future.. Wish Gibson all the best wherever he goes 🤘

    What was the O line lineup in the second half? Seems like they got in a groove and the run game was able to feast.
