    None of these kids want 2nd team money. They all believe they are good enough to be starters, especially when they are guys in front of them not catching balls and not getting open. French is a big 5-star loss. Texas can't keep this up. Screw the rules. Pay over to keep your own players.

    I agree. It can become a bad habit as feelings and pride get in the way. I loved IT, but I hated the board. OB had the best open board, but you had to be willing to put up with non sports stuff. I found ideas on everything on that board. I had to leave due to the moderator's bias, but I still loved the board. OTF board is the best for sports, especially UT sports, discussions.

    I saw that OU just added one of the Michigan Linebackers, and as usual, ESPN says he's one of the top Linebackers in the portal. We just saw him play, and either didn't get a visit or didn't ask for one. It seems to me that the portal is a crapshoot, and there are not a lot of players that Sark and Company are not willing to bet a lot on. I would think the best read would be on their own players. These kids we are letting walk were not overly great, but on the outside looking in, they had potential. I suppose, on the inside, they look at things differently. Their jobs are on the line, so I trust their judgment a lot more than the internet coaches.

    I prayed on X for Jordan when I first saw Bobby's X post. It is amazing how this life is always trying to kill you in one way or another. The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics...Order to Disorder, and we are all caught up in the chaos of that disorder. Heavenly Father, we know in this life there will be tragedies, and from that pain and suffering and we thank you that You are always there to see us through these tough times. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for a supernatural healing for Jordan and a rapid recovery. We also pray for the family and friends and we ask You give them hope, faith, and peace--That supernatural peace that only You can provide. .Amen, and Amen!
