Texas offers 2028 CB in Massachusetts
Dang, he must have incredible measurables to get an offer that early.

VT vs Pitt final field goal, good or not?
The ball has to be completely inside the uprights to be good, right? So, many times the call is good when clearly the ball is out. Refs probably should be calling more out than they do. We really do need laser lights on the top-inside of each goal posts that can be remotely switched on during a field goal attempt. This would help the refs determine if the ball was clearly inside the posts.

Looks like 24 Team Playoff is Coming
This is an NCAA socialist wet dream. One for all and all for one. Does anyone really think this means a more deserving SEC team will get in over some Podunk U that has a good record because they played the Sister Mary U's in their conference? The NCAA wants Texas, Bama, and all other SEC and B1G on the same playing field financially with all the other 300+ institutions. They call it better competition. So we will get 6 to 8 game blowouts like last year's Oregon and James Madison, instead of the couple we had. How many people are going to sit through games like that?

CDC comments on Colin Simmons, Raleek Brown celebrations
The people Sarkisian will go to for those funds will not be pissed off over this long term and will not tell him to FO.

Amen to this! The young players see these antics as humor. It's something they see all the time on Social Media and laugh. They need to be reminded that there is still a place for crude jokes and skits like this and public venues like Neyland Stadium is not that place.

Isn't discipline a part of culture? Can the two be mutually exclusive?

CDC comments on Colin Simmons, Raleek Brown celebrations
Is Sark's so-called "culture" a mirage? Is that why we are so undisciplined in every position group? Sark is always telling us "one person failed on this play and then another failed on this play... Not always the same person." That has to be a sign of missing discipline, doesn't it? Discipline always starts with position group coaches holding individual players accountable, and then Sark holding the team as a whole accountable. It doesn't seem like that's happening.

Burning Question Revisited: Did Texas start to form an identity on offense against Tennessee?
Someone once mentioned that Sark was a brilliant play designer but a lousy OC. That is why his scripts usually work, but after that, he struggles to stay consistent. Maybe that is because he prefers to call plays from the field and has to rely on eyes in the sky to figure out what the defense is doing. What genius is Buster Faulkner doing at Florida? This is essentially the same team as last year that struggled on offense. So, what are they doing differently? I've watched them a few times, and I don't see much change in formation or motions, so why the improvement? Yes, they are getting better QB play and execution, so they are obviously better coached. However, it seems like every play called is perfect against the defense they're running. How is that possible? My only conclusion is that Buster has a better view and control of the offense from the booth. Compare that to Sark who is still trying to play OC and head coach on the sidelines. He has to get info from his coaches in the booth and then call a play. If Arch doesn't have the ability to audible, as some have suggested, then each call is a crap shoot. This explains our constantly trying to run into inside run-blitizes and trying long developing pass plays against the same blitizes. It's ridiculous when you think about it, and insane to keep doing the save things and expecting different results.

DONT FOUL TEXAS_YOU'LL REGRET IT!
This is insane for a college team.

If what you say is true, would Sark had ruined Vince Young like Fisher and Norm Chow did in Tennessee?

I couldn't agree more. They are setting Texas up. The first loss and they will drop Texas out of the top ten, and call us frauds.

That play looked just like Quinn against Ohio State a couple of years ago. Both in the opponents red zone. Freakish.

Snap Judgments: No. 1 Texas rides historic defensive performance to road win over No. 14 Tennessee, 20-17
You are not making any sense. If a guy is a biased idiot like Lucci is, and that guy calls someone out, then the guy He's calling it is probably 100% right. CJ's X-post are in-game real time observations, and when he made the post, he was not wrong.

My statement stands, and talking about IQs that are not comparable or measurable is a childish deflection. Who the hell cares if Lucci is calling him out? He's a biased idiot. His opinion means nothing, especially on OTF.

Brown is an underappreciated back. I think he's just as good as Hollywood. Frankly, I think they look like two peas in a pod. That whirling dervish 360 move he made on that run in the 4th quarter yesterday was Saquon Barkley-like. He's become a favorite of mine, but Sark needs to talk with him about his theatrical celebrations as well as others on the team. "Don't be nasty or crude" needs to be a new addition to their team motto.

When you are referencing the Aggy Billy Lucci, you already lost all credibility. And you are wrong. CJ is 100% right. This offense sucks right now because it is so inconsistent. He's not saying they don't have the potential to be really good, they are just not playing like it.

I know Sark wants to be coach-positive, but at some point in time you have to call out yourself, your coaches, and your players. It's become a joke with this much talent. He's essentially pissing down everyone's leg and telling them it's raining when we all know it's not.

Arch Manning…
Do you really think that is going to get better? He's been with this head coach, QB Coach, and OL coach for 3 years now, and he's not improved much, nor has the offense line. They still don't know what a stunt or blitz are.
-
Arch Manning…
Why would he come back? He's going to have the same offense and the same OC/QB coach he's had for 3 years. What can he possibly improve on having the same coaches and running the same plays behind yet another inept offensive line coached by the same coach? That definition of insanity comes to mind. I think he goes pro.

Sark needs to fire his entire offensive staff. These kids are not prepared in any way, and their execution sucks.
-
Arch Manning…
I didn't think it was possible, but Sark is more stubborn than Coach Akers. It eventually cost Akers a national championship and his job.

Landen Williams-Callis with 5 more TD's last night
I've never seen a high school back like him. I saw Eric Dickerson in person at DKR and he was a superstar, but more of a slasher. This kid is Bejan in a strong bowling ball package with more quickness and speed is that is possible.

OTF has some explaining to do
1 hour ago, Oldest Horn said: So, not a casual user. More like someone who gets drunk daily. No, that is an abuser. Not someone like me who drinks a beer or two with my meal each day like many Europeans do. So far, my liver and chemistry are clean of any effects because the alcohol metabolizes so quickly and leaves no permanent damage that is either measurable or observable. Alcohol is not fat-soluble, so it is not stored in the brain like the narcotics and other chemicals in marijuana.
