  1. Guess SC has a great medical school 🤪
  2. Really good stuff Jeff. The havoc drop‑off really showed up in the losses - when this defense wasn’t creating negative plays, everything bogged down. Muschamp’s more aggressive man‑coverage approach should give the DBs way more chances to attack routes, and if the front can pair that with more consistent pressure, Texas can get back to that 2024 level of disruption
  3. I would have guessed Liv McGill, but according to CBS sports she committed to OKST yesterday. Know Texas was looking at her. Some of thes players fit Texas needs. So maybe Audi Crooks → scoring center Addy Brown → versatile forward Kymora Johnson → dynamic guard ***Brown to me with be a home run hit for any team 😀
  4. Today (4/15) begins the Spring signing period - So, today is the first day Etute is allowed to officially sign. Got that VIC?😃
  5. I get where you’re coming from, and you’re right that Vic’s system is built on defense and mobility. I just think Crooks could still bring something Texas hasn’t had in a while ---a steady interior scorer who can settle the offense when transition isn’t there. With the length and athleticism Texas already has around her, she wouldn’t need to switch everything. She’d just need to rebound, wall up, and finish, which she can do. She actually adds a different dimension that could make Texas tougher to guard. Just another way to look at it.
  6. This is an awesome post Jeff. Really enjoyed reading it. I think your take makes a lot of sense. Sark’s background with Saban and Carroll means he’s always understood what a high‑level defensive practice structure looks like, so it’s not surprising that Muschamp’s approach fits naturally with what Sark already believes. PK wasn’t a bad coordinator by any stretch, but fit matters when you’re trying to move from “good” to “championship level.” Muschamp comes from the same defensive lineage as Sark’s biggest influences, so the emphasis on live reps, physicality, and detailed teaching lines up more cleanly with Sark’s overall philosophy. And you’re right - the way Muschamp talks about the practice plan really does reinforce why he was Sark’s first choice from the beginning. It’s not just scheme; it’s the daily structure, the way you practice, and what you emphasize. That alignment is already showing up this spring.
  7. Don't think the sport isn’t dying - it’s just in a messy transition. The portal and NIL aren’t the real issue - it’s the fact that there’s zero structure around them. Until there are actual rules and some kind of governing backbone, it’s going to feel like chaos. The system needs fixing, not scrapping.
  8. Our top 2 sluggers have struck out 4 times? did i hear that right?
  9. i'm hungry now
