    I know for a fact that there are Sooners who hide out and post here. This is what I want to know. The criminal interlopers love to talk about the QB Heisman winners. They also love to now say that Riley was some kind of fake that harmed their program. Are they ready to admit that all those big QB numbers they had under Riley were fake? Heisman voters were caught up in the video game numbers without understanding (or caring) that it was all just a show? This is not to mention that five of their six titles (all under Wilkinson and Switzer) were accomplished while cheating. If they want to talk about "tradition," they should be compared to San Quentin.

    Let me clarify. When my grandfather said goddamn, it wasn't to cuss, but rather to say the God literally damned something. McAfee just cusses to try to play cool. I don't play that. Manning's cant change that.

    Doesn't change the fact that he's a lowlife cussing idiot. I don't need to hear some guy cussing all day. My grandfather said goddamn every other sentence, but he didn't do it impress anyone or cuss for the heck of it. That's what he grew up doing in the 1920s and 1930s.

    Another thing. Why is McAfee such an idiot but so popular? Makes me miss the days when stupid idiots couldn't get anywhere. The fact that Peyton is talking to a guy like this saddens me.

    I'm looking forward to putting the squeeze on many teams. Want to turn Oklahoma into Nebraska now that everyone can pay. Want to close off the window for Ohio State to recruit Texas, Florida, Georgia. Can't wait to see how Oregon's one man NIL show isn't sustainable.

    We need some kind of picture/logo with Bevo doing the horns down to UGA. All this horns down talk about penalties and taunting is nonsense. I wish Texas media would stay away from it. No one cares. I know Terry was upset about it after the UCF game, but that's an emotional reaction after a tough game. This kind of talk is what makes other fan bases think that Texas wants to be a bully but is really a bunch of ninnies. Man up and tell them to bring it on.

    The latter. Nothing is finalized until the player is signed. Even then the guy can ask to be released or simply transfer before playing a down.

    I've been debating whether to post, but you guys are like grandmothers worrying about Christmas presents. WRs are a dime a dozen. No receiver is worth two touchdowns a game. I mean, who could believe that? That would make one of those divas the greatest player in football history by a wide margin. No player has ever been worth two TDs a game. Furthermore, LBs aren't what they used to be. That said, I think recent comments by talking heads have been geared toward getting a flip with some of these guys. Don't need them that bad. You need elite QB play, skilled receivers, solid and technically sound running offense and defense, good special teams, and hard play across the board.

    We didn't hear anything negative at the time that I can remember. Seems Pettijohn got bent out of shape about the Longhorns going for Faraimo, which doesn't make too much sense. Faraimo is a middle backer and Pettijohn is outside. If it's true that there was some primadonna stuff going on, then so be it. Seems to me there's quite a bit of hyperbole about getting this or that high rated recruit. Yes, you want the best; but you don't necessarily need guys who want special treatment.

    Me too. We might lose power for 12-24 hours, but that ain't crap to being on the coast. We were out five days last June with a tornado.

    I don't know that it was just money. Maybe just silly. Anyone who thinks going to Oregon makes them "different" is not the sharpest tool in the shed. He will be transferring by 2027, like Stewart. Don't care if Texas get's him or not. Don't need him. We need D-tackles and O-line guys.

    This is how I grew up (my father was a Marine who served three tours in Vietnam), and this is what we gotta have if we want to the national championship. If recruits don't like it, send them Michigan.

    Here's why Nike doesn't matter. Recruit and don't whine out. Reminds me of my father talking about serving three tours in Vietnam from 1968 to 1972, including when I was born. Hose em all.

    By the way, this stuff that has recently happened in recruiting makes me like Sark more. Until this, I thought he was kind of riding the wave of happenstance, but that ain't the case. He could pay up and make it happen. But he knows you can't give a high school recruit who has never played a down in big league college football more than your current top guys without screwing up the locker room. Man has balls of steel. He's saying these seventeen year olds ain't nothing to him. He's right. Arch is more important than all these guys put together times ten.

    If you must go somewhere to "be your own man," then you ain't your own man. What we found out is that DK ain't no Kobe, i.e. he doesn't have the true killer instinct or mentality. Kobe didn't need to go somewhere to be his own man. He went to the Lakers and literally took over from Shaq, who was the most dominant force you could possibly imagine at the time. Everyone was trying to keep him from taking over, but he did anyway. That's being your own man, not going to BFE to get away from something. Let it go. Wingo will be better.
