It is not all doom and gloom friends . I believe that will show Saturday. I’ve said over a year Arch would come back next year . It’s a family tradition for the Mannings to play out their eligibility. Two Unc’s & Gramps did . No doubt we will lose KJ if Arch doesn’t declare. But what if we wouldn’t. I would hope he will stick with Texas . It is inexcusable to lose to two unranked teams . Lost by three points each . But our season isn’t over by far . We criticize if we want to . I believe it hurts our recruiting. But obviously i could be wrong. No Manning has ever won a Heisman or National Championship. Arch still can . Perhaps I just love Texas too much . But I believe the best is yet to come. “Hookem “

He’s the main fix in personnel overall, we have a talented roster. He’s the main fix for the defense, he hired Muschamp, recruited the players etc. He is absolutely responsible for the poor performance on offense for the same reasons. The offense just isn’t good. Objectively. The play calling just isn’t good. The Oline just isn’t good . He can’t or won’t figure it out, and that is his job and side of the ball . That’s probably the problem. He’s blind to his own failures, and keeps beating a dead horse (his offense which is dated). The problem is he has used some concepts in the past he just isn’t utilizing. Passing to tight ends and running backs more as an example. Oline blocking is atrocious, I think you need a PHD to figure out his oline schemes . That is one problem . Stand square to the damn line shoulder to shoulder and block what is coming with weight back in your ars and a good punch . Stop turning this way and that and zone blocking . It’s crap and confusing . Offense is his fault just like other successes are to his credit.

How many short and intermediate tempo passes do we throw in third quarter. Seems like the sequencing is failed run, (throw bomb/failed run) long third down, punt. I don’t see defenses stopping our short and intermediate passes unless it is a screen getting blown up because the screen blockerr gets jammed. This is what works in the scripts at the beginning of every game with a bomb thrown in. When the bomb is caught, yay, it works. When arch gets sacked, we start spiraling. Throw some quick slants for god’s sake.

Coach Vic has given the green light...

Like fore Booker to make some clutch twos in a big game before she shoots a bunch of threes. -
I'm far from an expert but if you've seen some of the bull fighter Ole videos, it's hard to believe even soft OL can just not get a hand on someone, so it is possible they have been given very bad instruction.

What's not hard to say is that Saban would have ripped him a new one by now

Want everybody's opinion on this...

A neck injury -
...he is often criticized for our lack of threes, however, the past few years, we haven't had consistent three point shooters. It appears that has changed. He said recently that: Bri Preston, Maddie Booker, Bri Crittendon, and Zya Vann all have the green light to shoot the three. Why? Because they can make them! This will be a huge change offensively to what we are used to. Hook'em! It's going to be an exciting year.

The question is whether Flood was a major reason Alabama’s line was so successful or whether he benefited from an already superior development system.

I'm not really trying to argue with you because some of your criticisms are fair, but I see it a little differently. I think you've got the cause and effect backwards. If Sark were blindly force-feeding his system for five years, Texas wouldn't have gone from 5-7 to living in the playoff conversation every season. Ewers wasn't running some pure Sark fantasy offense by the end. The offense evolved heavily toward quick game, screens, and intermediate throws because that's what Quinn did best. If anything, Sark spent years adapting to his quarterback. As for Arch, we're already declaring the experiment a failure two years in? That's the same fan base that wanted to bench Quinn every other week and now talks about him like he was the problem all along. Sark deserves criticism for protection issues, sloppy execution, and occasional stubbornness. But when the program reaches heights it hadn't seen in over a decade and the conclusion is still "maybe the head coach is the problem," it starts sounding less like analysis and more like someone looking for a guilty verdict. I just think it's hard to argue the architect is the main problem when he's also the guy who rebuilt the house. 🤘

After five years though of the same results though? Ewers couldn’t complete a deep shot to save his life at any point during his Texas career, but Sark kept trying to make his ideal offense a fit for Ewers. By his third year as the Starting QB he’d developed into almost exclusively a checkdown, screen pass, and layered intermediate route thrower. There was nothing resembling Sark’s ideal offense in year 3 of Ewers, so why did we have to watch year-over-year regression? Next comes the Arch era, and we are two seasons into the journey and the trajectory is decidedly downward….much like the Ewers era. Yet again, it’s two more years of Sark trying to force a square peg into a round hole, rather than change his own ways / philosophies. That makes 5 straight years of Sark blindly trying to make something work that just hasn’t, despite being provided with the most elite toolset in college football. Maybe the problem isn’t the QBs, OL, Flood, or anything other than the architect of it all.

Bobby has said it is many issues, including quarterback.
-
I'm sure it wasn't much different last year too for the first 7 games. Yet, Kyle Flood somehow is still our OL coach.
-
This OL just doesn’t have any big nasties. I want to see guys who love to hit. Thats a go hit or be hit position every play and I just don’t see the go hit offensive line
