Big loss for LSU ... future top 3 round NFL draft pick

I am not a huge fan of QB designed running plays as a whole, but to open up the game a bit we Sark should consider it. I am certain that Sark was on the USC sideline during the 2006 Rose Bowl. He should know.

I don’t believe Lacy came back. From what I recall, he was banged up versus Louisville too.

My brother was on that team. Keep in mind Lawerence was a local hero to us boys who grew up in Seguin, so having the chance to be on the field with on of your heroes was a great opportunity. He also go to share the field with Terry Orr, who he had played against when we lived in Midland.

Been wondering if we don't need to put in some zone read plays to improve running game. He has ability to run it.

Arch is a Manning. I get that. He is not Peyton of Eli, who were pocket passers. Arch's strength is his mobility. His game is more like his grandfather, Archie Manning. Mack Brown tried to make Vince Young a pocket passer, but eventually he had to let "Vince be Vince". Several times this year, Arch has had to make yards using his feet. His feet are a weapon we are not fully utilizing. From my seats, I have seen times where Arch had open field (20+yards) and chose to throw it...painfully throw it when he tries to throw it near the LOS. I know I am not the only one seeing this. Hopefully Sark will "Let Arch be Arch" the rest of the season Hook'em

This weekend is big for the playoff picture as OU, the loser of aggy/lsu and potentially Oregon could find themselves in a really bad place if they lose Saturday. I don't see OU losing less than 3 games anyway with their schedule (more like 5 or 6) but if Oregon loses to SC, I don't see anyway that team gets it together enough to later go into the Shoe and win so they'd be at least a 3 loss team who wouldn't have a strong list of quality wins to get them in the cfp. They're playing for their cfp lives on Saturday.

I'll admit, I was surprised by that Missouri score. Not sure if they just coasted or what but I was almost expecting the Troy upset at one point lol. By the time we get to play them, they should have Hardy back but Roberts for them has been really nice. Will pair well with Hardy. Did Lacy come back in that LSU game? I remember seeing him leave and looked very gimpy but I don't recall him coming back?

This might be a stupid question for you guys but of the commits how many do you think project well for the draft? Is there anyone you're looking at here and going "oh he's way too good, he'll be drafted".

The lack of high school competition part is way overrated in talking about Arch. Reason being, Peyton and Eli played at the same school, against the same lower level competition. Just wanted to point that out.

He’s a good kid. Hope he succeeds. Just too bad he had the setback he did and wasn’t able to bounce back quickly enough from that. He still looks a little hobbled but he is making it work so that’s awesome for him!

No that’s not how performance anxiety works. You don’t play better when there’s more pressure for you to be perfect if you have performance anxiety.

Sorry but I disagree. By “he’s always gonna be inaccurate” I mean that he’s never gonna the type of passer that Mensah is. So expecting every throw to be on target is just expecting a different QB. You can live with Arch throwing 68-75% if he connects on the deep balls like he always has. If he doesn’t then that’s when it hurts you.

The Vince and Colt comparisons were always doing way too much. If the reads stay this limited, the offense is gonna keep looking stuck no matter who is getting open.
