thatdude2 Posted yesterday at 06:37 PM Posted yesterday at 06:37 PM If Parker Livingstone WR1 at OU is that a loss for Texas? It would seem he was behind Mosley and Wingo before he entered. 1 Quote
Glass Joe Posted yesterday at 06:52 PM Posted yesterday at 06:52 PM I’d guess WR2 or WR3. They have Sategna back (WR1), and recent portal entrant Trell Harris is more accomplished than Livingstone. 1 Quote

Or he will be seriously disappointed if he think it is. Quote
Pound Town Posted yesterday at 06:58 PM Posted yesterday at 06:58 PM Did not have a problem with Brennen Thompson when he transferred to OU. You get what you can get and he clearly wasn't getting opportunities here. But Livingstone lied about the circumstances of his departure, and accepted a similar role with OU. Just wanted a bigger bag than the outrageous money WE had already offered him. F him. 10 Quote
Alex Butler Posted yesterday at 07:00 PM Posted yesterday at 07:00 PM They want to pick his brain on how to beat us and Sark’s offense, and he wants to give the finger 🖕to Texas for pushing him out. Short term win for him. Either way he has to live in Oklahoma. 3 2 Quote

817 Boxing B Posted yesterday at 07:05 PM Posted yesterday at 07:05 PM (edited) Being that he was Arch's roommate, you know Venablabble will try to get all the secret nuggets out of him for the offense. There'll be a lot of... what would ya'll run if we played defense like this... what's the hot... what's the call... Sark is gonna have to really be in his bag. Parker wants to be part of the OU squad to break the streak and exact revenge upon us. It's gonna be a bloodbath... and I can't WAIT!!!! Edited yesterday at 07:06 PM by 817 Boxing B 3 Quote

Battrayal Posted yesterday at 07:14 PM Posted yesterday at 07:14 PM if he did sign for the same amount as what we offered, which is what OTF is saying they are hearing at this point, then all these people whining that we let him and that he bleeds orange are just wrong. That's why the immediate jumping to conclusions about very small bits of news are getting extremely tiring. Point is, there are no key targets on our board that we have brought in that have signed elsewhere to this point. Its one thing to feel good or bad about the bits of info we do get, but tying them into a certain conclusion that something is definitely one way or the other is just unnecessary to this point. Why can't we just be somewhere in the middle until things are actually set in stone? 3 Quote

I agree, that’s his narrative though and he managed to get his price at a BlowU and I hope it works out horribly for all Sooners involved. 2 Quote

AZ Longhorn Posted yesterday at 09:31 PM Posted yesterday at 09:31 PM Texas fans feel so damn betrayed by Livingstone... and that's only possible if you feel he was ever more than a self-interested mercenary role-player with an unrequited first love (for OU). Just curious, so we can learn the lesson and see through the BS going forward: where did this idea come from that he "bled orange" and cared about Texas and the Lifetime Longhorn deal? (The fact that he was arch's roommate? Branding on social media? Wish-casting self delusion?) Quote
Bunk Moreland Posted yesterday at 09:34 PM Posted yesterday at 09:34 PM You could tell from his body language in the Citrus Bowl that Arch already knew Parker was leaving. He looked pissed more than once at Parker. 1 Quote

hookemrj13 Posted yesterday at 10:02 PM Posted yesterday at 10:02 PM Hey this may be a stupid question, but what happens with any playbook/scheme info he has? does that work its way to OU's coaches? 1 1 Quote
Lavalulu Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I’ve said this before. Livingstone didn’t get any offer from OU. Texas took a chance on him even though he was recovering from a season ending injury. Texas developed him as a WR (his words), had success within Sark’s circle of trust. Can’t ignor the stardust and national attention he received by catching for Arch. after all this, he ask for $$$—Texas tried to meet him in the middle, but he chose to walk, telling the world he had no other choice because he was forced out. the fact that he committed to OU is almost a betrayal given what Texas gave him at a time when OU wouldn’t even give him the time of day. I will brace myself when I see him do the horns down— because I now know he’s capable of it. 2026 River Rivalry will be epic. Can’t wait to see Livingstone eat grass against a Muschamp led defense. I’m done talking about him now. Hook’em 5 1 Quote
