You are also assuming that this wasn't discussed when he signed because they probably knew Seaton was going into the portal. Bobby, has repeatedly said he wasn't  worried ( and he is a worrier) about the OL and this could be why.

Brother I get what you’re saying. I think the chemistry and trust are valuable for Goosby and Arch. On top of that though, I don’t think you ask your star LT to not go into the draft even though he’d be a round 1 or 2 guy, have him come back with the understanding he’d be the LT, and then after he signs his agreement you pull the rug out from under him and kick him out to right guard. Even if Seaton is a little better, you don’t do that to someone like Goosby. Your word has to mean something.

He can come out next year and hes ranked below Goosby on draft boards, PFF, everywhere.

🤘if they discussed it then I’m with you and completely on board. If they didn’t discuss it, I’d rather keep my word to Goosby and have him at LT than any other option.
