One thing that most likely won’t get talked about enough but should…..returning a guy that will have been in the offense as long as Robertson is huge for making the calls and getting everyone aligned when breaking in two new starters and potentially Baker moving from Tackle to Guard.

Yessir. Experience in the system and knowing how to teach the new pieces around him is undervalued and huge for us.

Is he expected to start or be the reserve again? If the former, who is expected to be the reserve Center?

He will start most likely unless he gets recruited over which I doubt.

C Robertson wasn't coming back unless we needed him.

TX has only 1 OL transfer to TX so far. Doubting we add Wiscy OL Brunner, maybe Indiana. Ditto Yale OL Bennett, Oregon and Indiana battling for him. C Cruz transferred. 

Texas needs Robertson. Good to have him coming back.

Should be a special upcoming season.

He will be the starting center

Even though he isn't perfect I think it's great to have a guy with his experience in the system at C. Still need to find some better guards, though.

@CJ Vogel Can we get a list of guys that aren’t signed yet and where they stand? According to other boards, we are about to lose anyone not first team bc we don’t know how to manage a roster haha.

I think if he hits the weight room correctly and builds functional strength, he could take off. Seems to make the right calls, though flood’s slide protections have become predictable, and is in the right spots but gets overpowered. I think he knows he lacks strength so he overpowers and smart dl leverage his momentum against him. He definitely shored it up but has to get stronger since he protects the middle. The one place you simply can’t have penetration.
