Jonesyfam7 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago (edited) One thing that most likely won’t get talked about enough but should…..returning a guy that will have been in the offense as long as Robertson is huge for making the calls and getting everyone aligned when breaking in two new starters and potentially Baker moving from Tackle to Guard. alrightalrightalright Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Another huge piece!! What a day! January 11th, 2026 — the day of the Portal Palace and OL returners 🤘🏽 6 Quote

Yessir. Experience in the system and knowing how to teach the new pieces around him is undervalued and huge for us. 3 Quote
f1revo Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Is he expected to start or be the reserve again? If the former, who is expected to be the reserve Center? Quote
Sundancekid Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago He will start most likely unless he gets recruited over which I doubt. 1 Quote
Jerky Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago C Robertson wasn't coming back unless we needed him. TX has only 1 OL transfer to TX so far. Doubting we add Wiscy OL Brunner, maybe Indiana. Ditto Yale OL Bennett, Oregon and Indiana battling for him. C Cruz transferred. Texas needs Robertson. Good to have him coming back. Should be a special upcoming season. 5 Quote

whereiend Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Even though he isn't perfect I think it's great to have a guy with his experience in the system at C. Still need to find some better guards, though. Quote
Aspann85 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago @CJ Vogel Can we get a list of guys that aren’t signed yet and where they stand? According to other boards, we are about to lose anyone not first team bc we don’t know how to manage a roster haha. Quote

AusMOJO Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I'm not as sold on him at C as some are, but glad he's back and hope he wins the job. Quote

I think if he hits the weight room correctly and builds functional strength, he could take off. Seems to make the right calls, though flood’s slide protections have become predictable, and is in the right spots but gets overpowered. I think he knows he lacks strength so he overpowers and smart dl leverage his momentum against him. He definitely shored it up but has to get stronger since he protects the middle. The one place you simply can’t have penetration. Quote
