Sarah O Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Have you been to the Cheers bar, Gerry? Family Ties and Cheers were great! So many great ones! Not ranked but shows I watched/liked… Diff’rent Strokes, Alf, Three’s Company, The Facts of Life, Golden Girls, Who’s the Boss?, Growing Pains, Silver Spoons, The Wonder Years (late 80s I think), The Cosby Show and The Love Connection lol. Thanks for making me feel old this morning! 😂 Quote

Califashorn75 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago All these shows remind me of my first marriage. We didn't miss many. We had no kids. I was a high school teacher and baseball coach, my wife was working her way up the corporate ladder. Mainly great times. We were too young and stupid not to weather the storm. One of my biggest regrets to this day. Quote

Holy Cow Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) For strictly 80s, I would include Family Ties in my Top 20s. So many of these shows bleed over from the 70's into the 80s and from the 80s to the 90s. I know Happy Days was partly in the 80s but I always think of it as a 70s show since the best of it was in the 70s, same for MASH and WKRP. For me off the top of my head, my favorite 80s shows, in no particular order, would be: Magnum PI MIami Vice Star Trek: The Next Generation (half in the 80s half in the 90s) WKRP (Straddled the 70s and 80s exaactlly) Cosby Show Cheers Family Ties (I had a huge crush on Justine Bateman) Charles in Charge (Nicole Eggbert another huge crush) Airwolf Night Court (might be one of the funniest sitcoms ever, and had the beautiful Markie Post) The A-Team Newhart The Fall Guy (Heather Thomas anyone. 🙂) Simon and Simon Square Pegs (very brief show, pretty influential) Spenser for Hire Growing Pains 21 Jump Street Hill Street Blues Silver Spoons Edited 3 hours ago by Holy Cow 1 Quote

.45s Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Taxi also ran into the 80s. Danny DeVito was great in that show. Quote
