Califashorn75 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago LSU has four girls in the Portal. Mulkey thought she would only lose 1. Quote

Even on Coffee and Football this morning one danced around the questions asked about the women’s portal and team while the other went straight to the men’s question. Must be something that needs to be kept on the down low for now. I'm thinking it's a better of 2 evils thing. I think if they talk about it openly, it doesn't reflect on well on the school because of the possible actions they did or did not do pertaining to those players during the season. So they'd just rather people speculate and think they are leaving because of playing time or NIL etc. Edited 10 hours ago by ChanmanV 1 Quote

That’s just the world we live in now days. Quote

Like I said, I think both the school/coaches and players have probably decided or agreed to not talk about it and just move on. In the end, what's done is done and I'm more interested in who we're replacing them with. Lots of good choices out there. Quote

texcoyote15 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The best way I have found to follow Texas sports is to not get in love with any one player. In the age of pay to play your roster is going to be 50-75% new each year. The top few will be getting most of the money and the bottom 2/3 think they should be getting paid like the top group and it’s just not going to happen. It can’t happen. There’s only so many dollars to go around and you are definitely going to keep your best players. Quote
harveycmd Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It seems the key here is that locker room dynamics have more to do with this than NIL. The money in WCBB is nothing compared to football or MCBB. Quote
