I know Gerry and others have a lot of respect for him from his time as a high school coach but go to a clown school, become a clown. Simple stuff

I've been outspoken about this issue of Sorby. I'm incredibly disappointed in Joey McGuire on this. It's literally the biggest no-no in team sports.

He was always great to me. Did a great job at Cedar Hill - probably even underrated. But man the Sorsby stuff is just ridiculous from a 30+ year coach. Literally zero chance he ever told anyone that was okay. Guarantee he's kicked a player off a team for less

So he doesn’t know who his QB will be and he wants to throw some random guy on the field across from Colin Simmons week 1? Spot the ball.

He'll have Felix Ojo ready to man the left tackle spot ... what could go wrong?

This has a meet me at the flag pole at 3 type of vibe. Weird flex.

It was the propane tanks on HWY 138 in Florence, Texas!

This is straight out of the WWE playbook.  We're one step closer to Idiocracy.

At this point, we’re in it up to our knees!

Even the WWE is like “this is sad and desperate.”
Maybe Joey can go bet on Texas to cover and win some cash on his way to funemployment after this Sorsby debacle takes away his dignity and credibility.

In all seriousness, would del conte drop ND for tech in response ?

No, he’ll schedule TCU just to twist the knife.

This is kinda funny.  Tech is creating attention.  Maybe even drawing some eyeballs to their games.  And timely since in the last week this board discussed viewership and how that’d make a difference in negotiations for breaking away from the NCAA and creating a 40 team league.  Coincidence?

They are the same people who want Sorsby to play because they think he did nothing wrong.

How dare you he went to rehab and is a brand new man😉🤣💸💸💸

I would think Texas wants nothing to do with their shenanigans. Texas has owned that series and doesn't really gain anything playing that game. Don't need to give them the relevance they're desperately seeking.

As long as Eltife and a few others habe a say we are never playing them again in the regular season. I can forsee the playoff committee trying to set it up in the bracket though

I get it from that standpoint, but the fan in me wants to see a 57-7 repeat.

After the way Texas was treated when Chris Beard took his team to Lubbock, after the Big 12 commissioner was openly cheering for Tech to beat Texas and after Kirby Hocutt teased a long-term non-conference series that was never close to a done deal (from what I was told), if I were CDC, I’d tell Tech to kick rocks for eternity.

Needless to say, I’m looking forward to the THSCA Convention this year!

V sad that falls on the same week as SEC Media Days this year 😞

Here’s the thing—they are desperate to appear competent and hold onto the good graces of their fanbase after they bumbled their way into a $6M QB portal debacle. After ALL the millions they pumped into their roster, they may well lose a game or two on the easiest schedule in America. It’s the lowest hanging fruit imaginable to cheap-talk their way into a fake war of words with Sark.
