Watching all this play out, Texas Tech fans must be the most committed fan base in the country, because the amount of nonsense they’re willing to swallow with a straight face is unreal. Every week it’s a new meltdown, a new conspiracy, a new ‘Texas is scared of us’ fantasy. You almost have to admire the dedication - it’s like they’ve built an entire identity around pretending the rest of the sport takes them seriously.

Even after I joined OTF I kept following some of the other YT content, but not anymore. It’s just nails on a chalkboard. OTF really is the only place worth visiting.

My personal opinion is, we are giving way too much energy to Texas Tech.  Realistically, they’re probably not even in our top five rivals.

IT has to be kicking themselves in the nards with letting OTF partnership go.  Of all the things @Bobby Burton has done with OTF that was the smartest decision he made.

@Gerry Hamilton just caught up on coffee and football, in regards to the national radio host who had Cody on, I happened to ask Pat Mcaffeee and Tone digz (cohost on show) about that exact thing. Ended up blocked on X by both, but I have came to a conclusion. Pat is a mouthpiece from the WWE. Paid handsomely by them. Have to assume there were some sort of stipulations or framework there. Then again, Pat has gone pretty soft on a lot of interviews now. Almost never brings up controversy.

Surely the Tech coach realizes Sark didn’t say Texas could beat Tech with their 2s and 3s. The narrative that that’s what Sark said is ridiculous.

And if Texas couldn’t beat Oregon State and ACU with their 2s and 3s- that’s a problem.
