Moderators Jordan Scruggs Posted 7 hours ago Moderators Posted 7 hours ago Sales has already had a lot of exposure to the NFL. Likely part of why he's so mature. They didn't release the time he ran but Sales and his Lawrence North teammates helped setup/sync the NFL combine equipment earlier this year. If you're curious about his speed, Sales has track PRs of 6.85 in the 60M (2025) 10.81 in the 100M (2025) 21.4 in the 200M (2025) 22-10.75 in the long jump (2025) 5-10 in the high jump (2024) 2 Quote
Dawson Yarbrough Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Thanks for sharing this Hank! The colts are my NFL team. It’s awesome when my longhorns and colts world collide. Sauce is a good dude. I hope he has an all pro year! I like Sales’ confidence. I’d love to see him on the 40 for 3 years and then wear the horseshoe. Quote

I would agree, however they have a very very good coach in Cignetti. That dude just wins every where he goes. Do I think he will get developed the same. No. Do I think IU will be a winning program. As long as Cignetti is there. Absolutely. All I am saying is dont put the cart before the horse. IUs offensive scheme is good, and they play disciplined ball. And lets not forget, Texas spent a while walking through the wilderness before they got their footing back as well. Edited 6 hours ago by watty7796 1 Quote
Dread-headed Texan Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago There's confidence and arrogance 😂 if a high school student thinks he can challenge an all pro NFL corner that's just ignorance. I wish Sauce would have taken him up on his challenge and showed his the difference in strength, technique, and craftiness. These two aren't on the same planet when it comes to skill. Size and speed don't matter when you're going against someone who can neutralize it. 1 Quote

If I have a quicker step than you I can get to the cup and use the rim as a protector. In football even if I beat you off the line and do all the things, but the QB is late and throws it inside and high that's a pbu or a pick. Young buck needs to calm down, there's so much that he doesn't even know that he doesn't know. Confidence is good arrogance and ignorance yield Brandon Aiyuk. Quote

You are taking this way too seriously, but that is a common trait in this community, apparently—like how people can't give Kohen Brown props for his speed without someone coming into the thread and asking, "CaN hE cAtCh? cAn hE rUn rOuTeS? What's a common trait for this community isn't common for me. You won't find me on many if any threads talking projection over production. I'm sorry but that's just what I do if that's what everyone is on then I won't be the part pooper, I'll let you guys have your "fun"🤘🏿 Quote

There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance certainly. I don’t see Monshun challenging Sauce as arrogance. He was respectful about it and some guys just crave going against the best of the best. I’ll be arrogant and call him stubborn if he picks Indiana though 🤣 1 1 Quote
hookem1014 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Assistant WR coach at Indiana reacts. Keep getting the feeling IU gets him Quote

Agree Cignetti is a great coach. I just think there’s a big difference in being a flash in the pan and being a powerhouse consistently. I may be wrong but I don’t see that at IU especially because they don’t seem to be signing talented depth and they’re not going to have Fernando Mendoza at QB most years. Quote

Looking pre Mendoza Rourke @ IU 11-2 (2024) Jordon McCloud JMU 11-1 (2023) Todd Centio JMU 8-3 (2022) Cole Johnson JMU 12-2 (2021) 14-2 (2019) QB Coach and Recruiting Coord @ NCST Coached and developed a young man named Philip Rivers. No 4 overall pick. Dude wins, doesn't seem to matter a whole lot who the QB is. Solid system...and IMHO one of the top 2 or 3 to coach since 2000. It took him awhile to break through and climb the ladder, but you have to give credit where credit is due. Edited 46 minutes ago by watty7796 Quote

Cignetti is a great HC and he certainly can develop guys. Plus he seems to have significant backing if him staying put is any indication. But the homer in me is also saying eff all that and come to Texas. Although I will say in my current CFB 27 dynasty Sark got fired at Texas in year 2 (2027 season) and he got hired at Clemson. Guess who Texas hired? Cignetti lol. I'm playing as lowly Bowling Green trying to rebuild them. 1 Quote
watty7796 Posted just now Posted just now Haha...Sark is a great coach and fits the bill for what a Texas HC must be. Juggling donors, NIL, rabid fanbase, unreal expectations every year. Not many coaches are built for that. Winning at Texas is just not enough. You have to beat teams bad enough to leave no doubt, and you better not loose to ATM or Joklahoma. And why did you loose to Day and Smart again. Just to name a few. Im one of those guys, but sometomes i have to step back and look at the totality of all Sark has accomplished. Then I go sit in my corner shut up and color. Quote
