Who is LWC’s best comparison? I haven’t seen anyone say that he has a comp but he’s definitely not your typical small running back like a Darren Sproles or Clyde Edwards-Elaire.

I don't mind that one. LW-C a little more explosive at same age, but frame very similar and the undervalued ability to run it inside with all the jump cuts, skip cuts, vision and elite balance

Idk a lot of the same issues Gibson had at Texas I see LWC having the same. I watched a 20 minute HUDL and only seen him catch one pass. You're not getting on the field for Sark as a running back of you can't pass protect or catch. Not saying LWC can't do those things, I'm just saying it's not on tape. I'll hold my judgement until I hear the things I'm looking for once he gets on campus.

Probably because there are so many runs lol 

Hes actually caught over 50 passes so far in HS

LWC best natural runner of the three

Baxter is so tough to rank because of injuries… out of HS, he was as good of a three down back as any of them. His football intelligence was off the charts

Plenty of runs here too but you also see catches in traffic.

I think the difference is Desoto had a few more weapons offensively and it took awhile before Baker really made a name for himself so it was probably a little easier to sneak him out of the backfield. For LWC, he's basically their entire offense and for them its probably much easier to just give it to LWC and let him go. 

 

As to your other point about Gibson, his biggest issue was he couldn't hold on to the ball. Plus in watching their highlights, Gibson's tape didn't show anything special. His film screamed JAG. LWC's sophomore and junior tape show vision, explosiveness, and speed that Gibson's never showed.
