I’ve never been a fan of retiring jersey numbers.  Just put that player’s name and jersey number(s) in a ring of honor instead.  Eventually you run out of jersey numbers if you start retiring too many of them.

Not surprised at all by a player acting like this after exhausting his NIL deal with a school. I have come to the hard conclusion that these guys are only paid mercenaries these days.
