TexasMDcoach Posted August 20 Posted August 20 He has done well at OU so I can see why they extended him. His floor is always going to be competitive just not sure his ceiling will be championship level.Β Time will tell. 7 Quote
Rivalrygameblock Posted August 20 Posted August 20 They should go ahead and approve a lifetime contract for Stephenson to run the AD at the same board meeting.Β 4 Quote

Alex Butler Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Surprised they extended this early. Would think theyβd want to wait and see how this year plays outβ¦ 1 1 Quote

thatdude2 Posted August 20 Posted August 20 The hopium is high in Sooner Land. They believe they will have one of the best defenses in the country, a healthy Mateer is a Heisman candidate, 4 returning OL starters returning will make their run game better, Hatton is the best freshman RB theyβve had since Joe Mixon, the TE room is upgraded with Whitten and 3 transfer TEs, and they believe there WR room is better. They feel really good about this season.Β 2 1 Quote

Year 1 was a mulligan because of what Lincoln did gutting the program and escaping through the back door in the middle of the night; year 2 we looked better, 10-2, but lost our OC and QB; year 3 was abysmal and it was Brent and the entire managementβs fault; year 4 we went 10-3 and went to the CFP. The defense is scary good and Brent is yet to have his magnum opus recruiting class. The ceiling for this program is Nick Sabanβs Alabama..remember I said it..BOOMERβ Edited August 20 by LonghornFan4Ever 4 1 1 Quote
