TexasMDcoach Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago He has done well at OU so I can see why they extended him. His floor is always going to be competitive just not sure his ceiling will be championship level. Time will tell. 5 Quote
Rivalrygameblock Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago They should go ahead and approve a lifetime contract for Stephenson to run the AD at the same board meeting. 3 Quote
Michelle Lynn Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I was begging for a lifetime contract, but this will do 😈🤘 3 Quote
NTX_Horn Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 0 postseason wins, 0 top 10 finishes and 1-3 vs the Horns - I say extend him even longer. 4 1 Quote
Alex Butler Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Surprised they extended this early. Would think they’d want to wait and see how this year plays out… 1 1 Quote

thatdude2 Posted 31 minutes ago Posted 31 minutes ago The hopium is high in Sooner Land. They believe they will have one of the best defenses in the country, a healthy Mateer is a Heisman candidate, 4 returning OL starters returning will make their run game better, Hatton is the best freshman RB they’ve had since Joe Mixon, the TE room is upgraded with Whitten and 3 transfer TEs, and they believe there WR room is better. They feel really good about this season. 1 Quote

They feel really good about this season. This is a real quote from an OU fan on a YouTube video I watched a few hours ago about this extension: ”BV is just getting started. Year 1 was a mulligan because of what Lincoln did gutting the program and escaping through the back door in the middle of the night; year 2 we looked better, 10-2, but lost our OC and QB; year 3 was abysmal and it was Brent and the entire management’s fault; year 4 we went 10-3 and went to the CFP. The defense is scary good and Brent is yet to have his magnum opus recruiting class. The ceiling for this program is Nick Saban’s Alabama..remember I said it..BOOMER” Edited 17 minutes ago by LonghornFan4Ever Quote
