SueVide Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Go listen to the Ricky Williams Stampede podcast where Mack and Ricky talk about not embarrassing each other in public. It's a great story and approach. Quote

John F. Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago See this is why you don’t hire such a young, inexperienced head coach Quote

NothinButDaHorns34 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) Desmond has been mighty quiet since yet another scandal with their football program and we gave them the belt in the bowl game last season. It’s as funny and hypocritical as david pollack running his mouth about something wrong with our culture when georgia has had over 25 arrest since 2023. Embarrassing how he left. He was had Texas in contention for a Big12 title in December in his final season in Austin, in the very last game. Tied at the half. That is not embarrassing. The embarrassing thing is how fans like you treated him, the ungratefulness, entitlement, etc. That is far more embarrassing. All of his players loved him, practically all of CFB loved him, champion of the sport, incredible ambassador. Why can’t you just stop slandering him? He is the second greatest coach in our program’s history. What other university treats an acclaimed coach and stand up guy that way? It’s ridiculous 3 2 1 Quote
817 Boxing B Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Mack Brown exemplifies class and it's nasty work to find a way to disparage him and his efforts. He failed and was successful at things you never could fathom. He established a culture and a standard here that we all longed for until Sark showed up. I know being classy isn't popular in 2026, per our leadership, but the OTF family, we move different. 🤘🏿 1 Quote

It’s ridiculous Rightfully pointing out that Mack Brown's final years at Texas led to 10+ years of degradation and utter embarrassment is not "slander". It's a fact, regardless of how much you or anyone else whine about someone stating it. Mack Brown was as responsible for dragging Texas football out of the abyss as he was for plunging the program back into it. He was a stubborn, underachieving old man who didn't want to let go of his job when it was clear he was no longer capable of doing it and it cost the program dearly. Quote
