LonghornFan4Ever Posted 55 minutes ago Posted 55 minutes ago To be fair, there were not many opportunities to host games against top 5 teams in the Big XII, even in non-con. In odd years, if OU was a top 5 team, that could've been the case, but obviously that game was never played at DKR and will never be played at DKR unless they meet in a CFP game at DKR. Quote

The Georgia game in 24 is the closest comp I’m using for this game. How is it a comp? Completely different situations. If you’re not confident, fine, but your examples are not analogous Quote
HookemFromOkc Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago Driving down to Austin for the weekend right now... If it ain't happening now for Sark, it never will. Texas wins big. 41-17 Hookem baby! Quote

We don’t have that many big time home games to draw on I’m using the Georgia game in 24 as my closest comp on this one. Last year aggy was undefeated. I think that was a pretty big game. Quote

It’s not a conference game if that’s what you mean and we’re not ranked 1 the visiting team is. Quote

This is the first year Texas has the talent like OSU and Georgia. Quote

They didn't do near enough in the portal there is my hunch. I suspect they will get exposed in this game unless our DL just mops the floor of their OL which I'm not expecting. Flip side, not a believer in our OL till I see otherwise. Hard to imagine dropping 30+ unless they really improve. Quote

Sounds like based on your analysis Sark should be fired soon. Sounds like we are headed for 7-5 or 8-4 then. Edited 19 minutes ago by MBHORNSFAN Quote

I disagree we had the Thorpe award winning db, first round talent at WR, and a better QB. They had a great squad to be sure but we were right there with them. Quote
