To be fair, there were not many opportunities to host games against top 5 teams in the Big XII, even in non-con.  In odd years, if OU was a top 5 team, that could've been the case, but obviously that game was never played at DKR and will never be played at DKR unless they meet in a CFP game at DKR.

Two equally talented teams, playing a top 5 match up at night, the visiting team 2-3 years removed from winning a national championship, experienced QBs, and Texas is favored by 1.5 is not analogous enough for a comparison? It’s not a conference game if that’s what you mean and we’re not ranked 1 the visiting team is.

Texas wasn’t as talented as Georgia in 24. This is the first year Texas has the talent like OSU and Georgia.

I like our DL but I'm pretty concerned about LBer and secondary. They didn't do near enough in the portal there is my hunch. I suspect they will get exposed in this game unless our DL just mops the floor of their OL which I'm not expecting.

Flip side, not a believer in our OL till I see otherwise. Hard to imagine dropping 30+ unless they really improve.

So basically all the this is an elite roster etc is all BS?   Sounds like based on your analysis Sark should be fired soon.  Sounds like we are headed for 7-5 or 8-4 then.

I disagree we had the Thorpe award winning db, first round talent at WR, and a better QB. They had a great squad to be sure but we were right there with them.
