Day's NC respite from the hot seat is probably over.

I thought he really lacked situational awareness on that last drive.  His defense was cashed and they weren't going to make a goal line stand.  He should have conceded the TD, saved the clock and a timeout and gave Sayin a chance to get them in field goal position.

Yeah, I was a little surprised they didn't let us score earlier so that Sayin and crew could get a real chance to walk it off. I think he was probably thinking they could make the goal line stand because they've stoned us the past two years so he probably felt they'd do it again. Trying to work harder not smarter to prove his team's toughness.
