Especially with Georgia. They’ve played two cupcakes and probably the SEC’s two worst teams in Arkansas and OU.

Florida has played two cupcakes, shootout with a mid Auburn team, then caught Ole Miss on the road after an emotional win and without their starting RB.

Meanwhile, Texas downs Ohio State and Tennessee on the road and people are writing them off.

It’s honestly quite annoying being a Texas fan, because you have to hear the biased media, then you have to hear Texas’ own fans completely disregarding the reality that is difference in SOS

Totally agree with this sentiment 👏🏿! Texas has earned everything so far. Now the offense has been inconsistent at times, but Texas has met the moment everytime.

You’re not wrong. And yet, Texas cannot get out of its own way. The offense looks like a complete disaster most of the time, this team consistently plays sloppy, undisciplined, stupid football. It’s a testament to just how talented and how high of a ceiling this team has (along with the dominance of Muschamp’s D) that they are 4-0 against a tough schedule despite it all. I think people are frustrated because we can SEE how dominant this team can and should be. And maybe they will get there.

Texas looked perfectly fine vs Texas State. Then they had to have a heavy weight bout and got an emotional win vs Ohio State. Bit banged up and sloppy on offense vs UTSA, then similarly on the road vs Tennessee.

I think this was just destined to go this way. I do not think any serious contender has had a more challenging 4 game stretch in the country.

That’s fair. I just want to see this team improve week over week. They should be better a month from now than they are now, and even better at the end of November. They will need to be if they want to legitimately run the table in the CFP.

Sarkisian has always had a good gameplan for them and gets the chunk runs we have been missing. Two weeks to get healthy and figure out how to get the running game and screen game going. Got to expect teams to run all out blitzes so have to adjust the route concepts to mix in a lot of quick hitters and take the candy teams are going to give us. Wingo and Coleman are good enough athletes to turn short throws into explosives as is Bishop.

What did the offense look like last year heading into the MS game? How did it end up after that? I’d give them a chance to get to that point before you continue to run them over with the bus they rode in on.

I don’t disagree. I have said precisely that elsewhere. But I expect to see month-over-month improvement or will be sorely disappointed.

This schedule has been a gift. We got to find our legs against Texas State, played a tough game against Ohio State at home, have the inevitable hangover game against UTSA, and then having been battle tested get to play Tennessee on the road in a noon game. Each step of the way, the team has found multiple things to work on and get better. The bad it's that we have found similar issues from last year, but the good is that we're 4-0.

The media has soundbites they have to parrot:

1.  Sark Offensive genius

2. Arch Manning next anointed QB Jesus

3. Cam Coleman

so when the offense doesn’t fire on all cylinders, the hype the media created makes the team look overrated.   The few magic moments make you scratch your head and hope it will be alright.

What I am seeing is 5-6 man blitzes and an unwillingness to adapt quickly.  That causes our whole offense to look out of sync.  Is it Arch? Is it Sark? As long as Sark isn’t turning the ball over 2+ times a game the defense can carry us.

OU held Georgia to 12 first downs.  They game got out of hand due to the OU turnovers including 1 where OU was close to scoring and their qb gave Georgia a gift td.
