And even if it was a good scenario for that call, there were design issues.  As shown in the video and from Sark’s mouth.  Old Horn will probably just cover his ears and blame Arch for not lead blocking.

Smearing? I don’t think so. He’s played awful the past two games. 
 

As far as “amyone”, I can name dozens of QBs I’d take Arch over. But right now Quinn and Sam would be far better alternatives.

We should blame Sark for his lack of holding his players and coaches responsible and accountable for doing their jobs badly, but unless we can specifically show play call or scheme deficiencies, then we shouldn't make general indictments about the play calls or scheme.

The Oline can’t pick up a run blitz or a pass blitz so it doesn’t matter. Sark knows what plays work with his current personnel, but that doesn’t fit his offensive philosophy go for explosive plays. The quick pass game is there and works; he just needs to be ok with long sustained drives.

When you send six, especially when you overload a gap, guys will get through more often than not. But a good QB can read it and get rid of the ball or get out of there fast. 
 

Find it odd that when Arch finally started hitting the underneath guys for quick gains and first downs against Oh St our running game opened up?

Sorry if I triggered you, but my observations have to do with Arch’s inability to handle the blitz and missing open receivers. Those are performance issues, not scheme.

What exactly are we looking at here Phog? A SEC QB getting hit and pressured as he throws? Is that supposed to be unique to Arch? Thankfully once he reaches the NFL, the pockets will always be clean and the throwing windows will be much larger.
