VaHorn Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Wonderful news! It’s frustrating. I can tell he’s really really good, but I never know whether someone is so good that will never see them on campus. 2 Quote

Horn95 Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 He was the DFW Offensive POY this year. Perfect Game has him ranked at #500 and that’s absolutely criminal. Kid is really good. 2 Quote

K. Baughman Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 (edited) It’s crazy if you look at the A&M forums. Dang near every thread they have going their conversation is Texas. They talk about us more than their own team’s goings on. Edited July 8, 2024 by K. Baughman 2 Quote

CoachBobbyFinstock Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 They may have kept their players together on this years team but they have been pillaged in HS recruiting flips. Aggy will be a one hit wonder again if they are lucky 3 Quote
horns96 Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 (edited) @Blake Munroe any chance he ever sees campus or is he a MLB draft lock? Looks like he's projected in upper half of draft? Edited July 8, 2024 by horns96 Quote

Hornito Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Curious, Blake if currently atm is outspending all of college baseball this off-season just to go for it all one more time. Is there an open checkbook from the scorned ags this year in particular? We’ve heard the rumors of the big numbers they splashed to keep their biggest hitters. Are they determined to buy up the portal this year to get back to the finals? (Huge gamble given the unpredictability of college ball and a new staff). Are we snagging their high schoolers while they are focused on buying the now? Quote

Moderators CJ Vogel Posted July 8, 2024 Moderators Posted July 8, 2024 Comment from about Rodriguez from a buddy coaching in the DFW area: "Dude is without a doubt the best hitter in 6A... He is a switch hitter who just barrels everything. Plays with emotion. Just a tough out." 17 Quote
