Freeman makes more sense for Penn State than Florida, but I’m sure he wouldn’t wanna face his alma mater like that so often.

But maybe if he beats them enough or Day leaves, he’ll get the job he’s waiting for.

In my eyes Penn St is a downgrade from Notre Dame.

FWIW even Mods on some Florida message boards are saying Sunday he is out win or lose and speculating on interim Coach Gonzales taking over until they hire a new HC. Something is definitely going on when they imply that not that phony Hoop tweet lol. Plus story in USA Today Oct 15 that talks about him being gone soon. Done deal it seems !

Well if he's going to get canned anyways, might as well go out a winner I guess...

I agree, why leave a good thing at ND?

No way I leave for Penn State if I am Freeman but Florida may be too good to pass up. He can win there and win A LOT with the best talent in the country flocking to him every year. I mean the current team would be winning A LOT if Freeman was their coach, imagine him with a portal window and a couple recruiting classes.

Florida would be very tough to turn down.

That was a bad loss for Texas. But maybe a necessary one in some regards.

Lot easier for Sarkisian to get them focus on a game by game basis, because the next loss likely knocks us out of the playoffs.

Steve Spurrier and Urban Meyer showed what Florida can be if the right buttons are pushed. If I were Marcus Freeman or someone advising him, I'd have to know what the plans are for the potential administrative changes and what the NIL structure looks like. Commitment to resources is everything in college football now.

Yeah almost have to win out to get in unless the only loss is in SEC Championship. 5 Conference Champions counting G 5 . Leaves 7 spots and if ND wins out bet they get in. Leaves 6 spots for B10 and SEC to battle over. 5 if ACC squeezes 2 teams GT Miami. That Florida loss was a killer. But can win out and won't be denied. Who knows it's college ball.

He can't get both Dallas Wilson and Cam Coleman.  Texas can get at least one of them imo

Give me Coleman please.  I have seen him ball out on everyone when everyone knows he is the only option.

Florida better recruiting base than Penn State and isn’t close.
