I still love Arch and I'm rooting for him.

But I feel like  Sark and Co. have focused so much on protecting Arch from the outside noise/pressure, instead of urging him to become the leader of this offense.

He's the starting QB at The University of Texas. We need him to start acting like it.

Anyone who puts this on anyone but Sark is wrong, one of the worst rush defenses in the SEC was ready for every running play we ran. We made that DC look like a genius. They knew exactly what was coming all night. Arch is literally getting killed and Sark moved completely away from what worked last week. I am sorry but the offense and their performance is 100% on Sark and he needs to get WAY better.

How many of us are calling out what play we are running before the snap, I bet it is a lot. If we are in the red zone, especially 10 yard line, it is very easy to read what we are doing.

PK is going to have to carry us this entire year because Sark isn’t evolving and is regressing. Fortunately, PK is one of the best coaches in America.

This came up during the Texas v Kentucky game today.  Does anyone else think Sark is not as focused/obsessed on Texas football this year …maybe because of his family situation (being a new dad again, complications with the pregnancy and birth, etc, )???

not trying to make excuses for him, but we’re trying to figure out why this keeps happening to our offense??

(also…I really miss Coach Choice)

Texas is officially the up and down team when it comes to the offense. Why didn't we play James Simon? Why didn't we run the ball more? Why do blue basketball team schools embarrass us?

Yeah i'm curious why Simon isn't getting any runs? Clark had a few decent runs, but Wisner had nothing and neither did Arch. A total of 37 yards rushing. Against one of the worst rush defenses in the SEC lol.

It’s a fair point. We don’t have any more blue basketball teams on the schedule thankfully so maybe now we can focus on playing football and moving the ball offensively. Heck at this point let’s just try to even out the TOP.

I think losing Coach Choice is a big one too. He was such a great coach and an energizer bunny on the sideline.

Did we…did we play offense tonight?! Interesting fact we had 332 and 306 yards against 2 of the top defenses in the country (OSU and BLOWU) and 340 and 179 against 2 of the worst in power four (Florida and Kentucky). That screams to me MATURITY. We get up for big games against big teams, but when we should show up and handle business we walk into the game looking entitled, unprepared, unfocused, out of synch, lifeless, and apathetic. I really didn’t like Wingo’s body language tonight on a couple of throws specifically the throw early on across the middle that was wide open (Arch HAS to connect on these it’s killing us multiple time this year see osu in the 4th quarter), the third and long ball that was behind but he got his hands on, and the throw in OT. Wingo doesn’t seem to attack the ball but more expects it to be thrown to him perfectly. Then at times when it is…it’s inexplicably dropped. His blocking on a couple of the outside runs especially one on third down with Archis really bad for a player that is so physically gifted. He also isn’t fighting for PI calls. Even the one last night he body language was passive rather than aggressively attacking the ball. IDK there is a lot on offense overall that we laymen can see, the most glaring in lack of intensity and physicality in the run game from the line. @Gerry Hamilton get ready I think you’re picking MSU next weekend because Texas just got out physical’d on offense badly tonight. Defense brought it…HARD so did special teams, so that tells me it’s a mentality and attitude within the offense not the team as a whole.

Brotha the man’s getting 10 milly a year. He needs to be obsessed with Texas football.

QB-Arch is not consistent enough to be labeled an “inconsistent QB” he has proven to be a bad QB thus far.

RB-Needed more carries tonight. Clark averaged 4.3 but only got 3 touches? Ridiculous. Nobody on this room has shown to be explosive but need more touches.

WR/TE-Not overly impressed with this group but with a better QB, I think they would be considered an average unit. Somebody go make a tough catch.

OL-Atrocious.

Sark-Head scratching playcalls. Abandoning the run game made zero sense. He is becoming a detriment to the team.

I’ll contribute to this thread we suck on offense and our head coach is not an offensive genius the media calls him. #firesark #fireflood

I can’t be the only one that would rather have lane kiffin? I mean come on the guy took a D3 QB and has turned him into what arch was hyped up to be

I agree wild isn’t it. 2 of the highest QB recruits ever and I live in South Dakota and the QB’s here at university of South Dakota and South Dakota state play better. But we got the QB guru in sark so we got this right.

There’s also not a skill player within a million miles of Bijan, Rojo, Brooks or Whittington on this offense. What is Sark trying to build? What is his actual plan on offense? He always says what we don’t major in. What does he want to major in? I have zero clue. Someone please ask him that question.

@CJ Vogel Please ask.

There is legitimately no reason to spend a ton of money on 5 star QBs anymore. You’ve got transfer QBs who have already developed and are proven commodities. Just live on transfer QBs from here on out.

True but if I remember right you wanted PK fired and luckily he didn't get fired. He is obviously doing awesome now. Sark and the offense is struggling for sure. Probably too late to fix it much this season but as PK fixed the defense after year 1 I am gonna see how Sark fixes the offense.

And if he doesn't he likely won't make it.   Should be interesting to see how it shakes out.

Coach Sarkasian might be arrogant and stubborn - but he aint stupid.  He has a good nest here in Austin as the HC, and he will do what he needs to do to protect it.  We will hire a young OC full of vigor who will relate to the players well and get the most out of them.  Coach Flood will evaluate whether he wants to continue the rigors of college coaching and we will have improvement - one way or the other.

That is all.🤘

The offense has done nothing but regressed from 2023-2025. I’m sure the 2021-2022 offense was better than the BS product on the field now.
