Doesn't have any help but man he can miss wide open WRs like nothing I have seen before. Any idea WTF is going on ? 1 Quote

Bunk Moreland Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) This might be the most disturbing thing he said: “But at the end of the day, it's like we can have high scoring games and I could air it out and lose.” Ah, yes. The brilliant strategy to not score points because we could lose if we scored points. This dude is in such deep denial about how badly he’s screwed up this season. An elite defense is the only thing separating this team from a losing record. Edited 11 hours ago by Bunk Moreland 2 Quote

Sark has proven to be successful and Arch needs some help and to settle down a bit. He will be fine and he battles for this team. I respect his grit. Agree!! That dude was beat UP tonight and still battled all the way through and thankfully we were able to come out with the win. It’s a roller coaster but it is for everyone right now. This is a week to week league. Arkansas took the Aggies to within 3 tonight and scored 42 points. All we can do is keep working and getting better and focus on winning the games in front of us any way we can. 1 Quote

Alex Butler Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago 2 hours ago, Jeff Howe said: Sark said he didn't consider a quarterback change. Nor should he! Let’s be honest and please stop all this QB change BS. This kid may not have played well tonight from a statistical perspective, but he didn’t turn the ball over and really didn’t put the ball in harm’s way even with all that pressure. All night long…AGAIN. That alone gave us a chance to at least make UK beat us straight up, which in the end they couldn’t do. I’m not sure another QB in the country would fare a whole lot better given what Arch has in an o line in front of him. That said he was off tonight and missed some easy throws to Wingo and Endries that would have extended drives and or put us in a position to score. That can get better, but only if Ardh is out there and continues to prove to everyone just how strong and tough he is. Look at that kid at the end of the game his arms and neck and tell me he doesn’t give you the best chance to win right now at Texas!!! 2 Quote

And that is complete BS IMO. What if there is culture rot during a season behind the scene? What if there is staff rot during a season? Etc... There is so much that goes into success, and sustained success IMO. But we all have different opinions, and that's what makes the world go round. I get it. Media also thought Penn St and Clemson were top 5 teams 4 Quote

AusMOJO Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Also, if we follow the up/down play of this team. This week was down. Which means our remaining games should look like this: UP - Miss State, Georgia and A&M DOWN - Vandy and Arky Now who knows how it plays out, but you can only rely on your D so much. The O needs to put drives together and score points. 16 points and OT against Kentucky is unacceptable. I don't care if they played Georgia close last year or whatever. Quote

I guess this doesn't account for how bad they've looked on the road in all 3 road games, so there is that. Quote

Miss State next week on the road, Georgia on the road, Vandy at home and even A&M. Hell, at this point Arky looks much better under Petrino, too. If we keep playing like this, the scoreboard won't be in our favour. It's not hard to understand why people are pissed off with the performance against Kentucky. Edited 6 hours ago by AusMOJO 1 Quote

alrightalrightalright Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago After a night of sleep, my thoughts remain relatively the same. The offense needs to sustain drives long enough to keep TOP relatively even, or they're going to let the dam break on this defense. Running the ball would be a start. 3 Quote
Oldest Horn Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago This blame the messenger crap is ridiculous. I’ll keep a close eye next spring and summer on coaches who’ll announce they’re weak in particular areas, don’t trust certain players and question perceived strengths. And during the season I’ll let everyone know when a coach openly blasts individual players and questions a team’s character during pressers. PS, that ain’t how the world works. 2 Quote
Forrest J. Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Texas now has 4 straight years of mediocre to bad play at quarterback with two of the highest rated QBs to ever be recruited. We have a coaching problem folks! I believe we’ve seen the best of Sark as a program builder. He’s topped out! Quote

For whatever reason we matched up well with them, got Wisner loose, then suddenly Arch could breathe in the pocket. I have no doubt we would have done the same last night. But 12 for 37 ain’t getting it done for your lead back. Quote

You can tell them because they look a bit different in performance than the others Last year it was Michigan, OU, A&M, and Georgia (we just got physically whipped the 1st game). This year it was OSU, OU and I expect us to play one of our best games of the year against A&M. Miss. St. game will be another ugly battle, but I don’t see us getting out with a win and Vandy may very well embarrass us at home. Apparently what I thought was progression against OU, was really just extra prep in the offseason. Quote

Clark came in and averaged 4.3 yards a carry in the 3rd quarter. Then we abandoned the run for incomplete passes and designed Arch runs outside that did not gain yards. Maybe we didn't trust the line not to commit holding penalties. 2 Quote
