Zachery Nelson Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago If you’re texas and Cam Coleman goes in the portal do you go get a wideout that is a true number 1 stud ? I lean yes just cause wingo hasn’t played well all year and I have a gut feeling we are gonna lose some of our depth at wideout to the portal 2 Quote
LonghornFan4Ever Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Only way it happens is if Moore goes pro after this season and Butler + one more WR hit the portal. Even then, might be tough to get him from an NIL standpoint. 1 Quote
Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted 4 hours ago Moderators Posted 4 hours ago Think it's deeper than that. His likely asking price would mean telling the depth goodbye, Wingo and maybe Mosley or Moore (unless Moore goes pro) That's probably what he will ask for in terms on positional NIL 3 1 Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I just hope sark gets dogs like he did for quinn. We could be looking at arch’s last year so give him ALL the resources to be great. 4 Quote
Thanos72 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Only comes if the chance to win outweighs the bag. He’d have to take a legitimate haircut. One, I’d never ask or try to influence someone to take. Real money would be loss. Quote

Started with 200 potential yards for Wingo against msst. I think that room is good enough to win if all. Oline, dline, and one elite cb for me. Quote
Bobby Burton Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I don’t see how Coleman happens unless the WR room is completely re-worked. Not sure Texas wants to do that. 6 Quote
Quinncent McManning, Jr. Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I can see aggy going all in for a guy once committed to them 1 Quote

Joe Naural Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Not sure there is a better Wr core than Tennessse. Tall … fast and catch! Impressive Terry, French and Lockett ???? Is the talent there? Quote

Yes, he’s represented a bunch of Horns, but David has been getting record setting deals done in the NFL regularly from every position. I don’t see that working in our favor unless he convinces him that Texas could boost his stock best for the NFL BIG money. I’ve been around him enough to know that probably ain’t happening. 1 Quote
drag worm Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I see the need in the WR room being higher for a burner that can take the top off the D. Cam is really really good but more resembles what we hope we can get out of Wingo and what we're already getting out of Parker, a tall lanky contested catch guy with a wide catch radius. With Wingo, Livingstone and Mosely all back I think you're basically judging whether Ffrench or Lockett can be the missing piece (if they can't then attrition from them is not a problem) and then you move to the portal to see who you can flush in there that helps provide NFL burner level speed to go along with everyone we have back. In this NIL / portal era you have to rip the bandaid pretty quickly on bad-evaluations and five star receivers who don't come in wowing people probably fall into that category. SpaceCityWrangler Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Wingo, Livingstone and Mosley… then you have all the young bucks. Texas won’t be that battle. Quote
