If you’re texas and Cam Coleman goes in the portal do you go get a wideout that is a true number 1 stud ? I lean yes just cause wingo hasn’t played well all year and I have a gut feeling we are gonna lose some of our depth at wideout to the portal

Think it's deeper than that.

His likely asking price would  mean telling the depth goodbye, Wingo and maybe Mosley or Moore (unless Moore goes pro)

That's probably what he will ask for in terms on positional NIL

Only comes if the chance to win outweighs the bag. He’d have to take a legitimate haircut. One, I’d never ask or try to influence someone to take. Real money would be loss.

I just hope sark gets dogs like he did for quinn. We could be looking at arch’s last year so give him ALL the resources to be great.

What intrigues me is we might them. Game 49 of the year against vandy before we hue strong the receivers can be. Started with 200 potential yards for Wingo against msst. I think that room is good enough to win if all. Oline, dline, and one elite cb for me.

Texas mentioned in article.

If his agent is Mulugheta as the article says, no way we get him. Yes, he’s represented a bunch of Horns, but David has been getting record setting deals done in the NFL regularly from every position. I don’t see that working in our favor unless he convinces him that Texas could boost his stock best for the NFL BIG money. I’ve been around him enough to know that probably ain’t happening.

I see the need in the WR room being higher for a burner that can take the top off the D. Cam is really really good but more resembles what we hope we can get out of Wingo and what we're already getting out of Parker, a tall lanky contested catch guy with a wide catch radius. With Wingo, Livingstone and Mosely all back I think you're basically judging whether Ffrench or Lockett can be the missing piece (if they can't then attrition from them is not a problem) and then you move to the portal to see who you can flush in there that helps provide NFL burner level speed to go along with everyone we have back.  In this NIL / portal era you have to rip the bandaid pretty quickly on bad-evaluations and five star receivers who don't come in wowing people probably fall into that category.

Kinda figured the asking price would be to high , the whole nil sharing is crap with schools like texas are making more then any of the others but can’t honestly spend more is dumb

Harlem Berry would be the guy we need to target. Our RB depth chart is going to look really bad once Wisner goes pro. Baxter may never be the same, Simon doesn't scare me, and Cooper is going to be a true freshman.

Would be nice but OL OL OL. Plus other more important needs imo. Gonna cost way too much and we can get a wr there will be other more affordable I bet.  Plus risk losing some guys in that room , but who knows these days.Just don't see that as a priority, but for sure would love it no doubt.

Said this on another thread, but the only way you get Coleman is if you clear guys out. He'll command a heft price tag and rightly so. Depends on what the staff evaluates at the end of the season with their room. Does Moore go pro? Do guys down the depth chart leave? Do all the Fr stay? Who knows.

At the very least you've got Wingo, Mosley and Livingstone 100% back, unless something weird happens. McCutcheon has been coming a long pretty nicely. Adding a guy like Coleman would be amazing, but I just don't see it happening unless it makes sense.

People having been clamoring for Baugh but I doubt he leaves Florida and if he does, he'll probably end up at Georgia. They might try kicking the tires on the RB at LSU Durham but would he even want to leave LSU?

I don't know much about Harlem Berry, I'll have to check him out.
