...he took a horrific program and has built it into one that is much better than before. He is a very hard worker and great at recruiting being honest and caring. He loves his players and that is evident. He has a system and rarely deviates from what he believes equals success. He is articulate and not an asshole. He played the game at a high level and favors what players go through, because he can relate. We have no patience as Longhorn fans, self included, but next year Arch will be much better and our team won't be so young. Hopefully we can end the season on a high note. I do wish he would give up play calling and focus on the big picture. But I believe in Sark.

You rebuild the team every year. He failed to build a good one this year. Needs to reassess his entire program with an open mind if he’s going to make it past next year. He should start with himself.

I’m not optimistic, but I thank him for all the work he’s done to improve the national perception of our program the last 3 years. He needs to either redouble his efforts to that end, or step aside.

Above all else, we can't lose sight of this point. The program, as it currently stands, needs a tune-up, but it's not in shambles.

He beats pretty much everyone not named Ohio State or Georgia over the last 2-3 years. That is a pretty nice quality to have.

He faces the same thing every other coach in the SEC and Big Ten face in trying to catch those two programs.

You'd rather it be that way than continually losing to teams you shouldn't be losing to.

He made a mistake this off season with regards to offensive personnel. Thats not debatable. Whether he admits and fixes it or not is TBD. I think Sark is a great fit for Texas and the SEC but he needs to ironically learn that the pedal is never off the gas at a place like Texas. Beat Arkie. Beat A&M. Fix the roster. But don’t leave over this one season. That would be short sighted on everyone’s part.

Watching Alabama goobers leave Bryant Denny in droves when we beat their butts in Tuscaloosa a couple of years ago.

I was there and whole heartedly agree. One of the most fun nights ever. Post game campus Waffle House included.

I am not sure what coach our “fans” think is going to come in and meet all the expectations of all the “fans”? Does Sark need to continue to grow and adapt to the changing landscape of college football?  Yes, of course. I think he will. The question is will whatever Sark does satisfy all the “fans” ? Of course it will not. But remember that Sark is not going anywhere next season. Continue to voice your concerns but remember what the program was when he came onboard.
