    Quinn conducted himself well yesterday. Hopefully they let him finish out the regular season as the starter to get a larger sample size of what he can do. He was accurate and managed the game well.

    Absolutely. Those teams who do not participate are missing an extra opportunity similar to missing spring practices and a real game as opposed to an intrasquad scrimmage that follows spring training (or doesn't). Important for next year.

    Good post. Been a fan since the ‘60’s through thick and thin. This year didn’t meet our bloviated talk and expectations but we over estimated some things and had to develop some players further for next season’s success. We won the golden hat and Lone-star trophies. Got a bowl trophy still to win too. We will likely have to wait another year for the trophy we all wanted. We now have a serious QB and have developed some talented current and future starters. This team is still writing its story too so there is that.

    Could also make those second round games slotted into some of the lesser bowl game sites with emphasis on regional locations. This model would motivate players not to skip the bowl games as well.

    Arch can make all the throws. Most of his deep balls are just a tad long and I think when we add a bit more speed to that position his long ball will become the weapon, we all expected.

    An equally pertinent question is how did we beat Kentucky and MSU? The truth is we are a very talented team who has been terribly inconsistent and has not been very good for much of the season. I think we are lucky to have the record we do at this point and still have our goals intact. This week, I agree fully, will show us the real picture. We can only depend on ourselves.
