We beat our 3 rivals. We know how to win close games on the road in the SEC. Success, success. Now we just need to get over the hump and beat the elite teams. I think Arch is on a trajectory to be able to do that. We need some better line play, and we need to hit on some RB prospects that bring back the run game. The only thing that disappoints is I feel like our coaching could get a little better schematically. Offense and defense . Sark is amazing at getting recruits and building a culture, just need to be a little better at formulating an advantageous gameplan against elite teams. A lot to ask, but not at Texas where we “expect to be in the conversation for championships.” Sarks words not mine.

What’s funny is I thought some of this would end when we left the big 12. Why do we stay in fan bases heads. It’s a compliment. Why do other fan bases care to do the horns down? Georgia hasn’t had enough success and risen high enough that their head coach doesn’t have to target is in a post game pressor, or we see them online bad mouthing us , or witness horns down all game? We just need a line and backend defense to first end defense marrying again!. And for the young guys to mature. Maybe next year, don’t know, and this team is fixed. That is a lot, but doable. We’ve done it before. And if anyone hasn’t noticed, Arch is getting better every game, and will be elite more than likely next year as long as he doesn’t catch the yips again.

It’s true. I hate to cry refs, but it made a big difference in this game. The interception the receiver was held. Multiple holds on Collin Simmons, other D line were tackled. It was bad. And the calls on us were fair, but they weren’t called on the other side. Ridiculous . Biggest one was when we were driving down the field and receiver held and it sailed past him for the interception . Easy call. Watch the tape /
