  1. I left out usernames as to not name and shame posters but this was all the week leading up to and including day of game.
  2. My BS takes? Like Arch doesn’t hit underneath and if he does it will help our offense/OL, which is exactly what happened yesterday. My OL takes which were exactly right and replacing the LG literally made the unit better? Excuse me, show me a take that I’ve had that wasn’t true
  3. Everyone constantly calling on other backs is a hater of Wisner. Even before the season the SEC leading rusher was getting no love from people and it was Cj this Cj that. And a warning for a post giving props to our best player? Maybe the members in this community need to grow tougher skin.
  4. I, for one, would have never guessed changing the LG would have such a tremendous impact on how the line can look. I’m actually flabbergasted
  5. As positive of a poster as I am, I wish Hugh Freeze nothing but the worst.
  6. So crazy the leading returning SEC rusher was so hated on by this fan base calling on an often injured guy to be a savior or a true freshman that is unproven to be the guy. Tre is our workhorse. It’s what it’s
  7. Why are you laughing? He did exactly what I said he should do guess what, it was successful
  8. This was the best game of his career. He decided to open up the whole field of play and it put Oklahoma in bad positions. He hasn’t hit checkdowns or underneath like he did today all season. Well played Arch!
  9. We have the best resources in the country and our linemen are perfect. Stop being a hater bro. We just need to all put it together and I have heard we had a great week of practice so this may be the week!
  10. Here is the curl that Uncle Rico thinks is "covered" I'll show you why he's not in multiple picture format leading up to the hitch and when ball should be out. Beginning of play, Nickel is dropping to flats/numbers) At this point Arch should see on his initial read where he's looking that he has 4 defenders on 2, that isn't a recipe for success He's still looking at this concept even though it's covered, you will notice that the nickle dropped into a back pedal at this point Once he notices the 2 high safeties taking away the deep concept and the TE covered he should have immediately switched his POV to the hitch - IMPORTANT: He is not being pressured at this point, look at the pocket and how much time he has. ALSO IMPORTANT: the ball should be coming out to Wingo at this point of the screen shot with a wide open hitch, this is considered WIDE OPEN in the college game. You will also notice that the nickel is flat footed here so the chanced of him picking this off is slim to none. THE BALL SHOULD BE COMING OUT TO WINGO RIGHT HERE! His route is complete here but he still has defender up top bailing and the db underneath not in position 5 yards off, still think this could be a completion if thrown in this screenshot but not as open as the one above. This was on 2nd and 10, a completion to Wingo here gets a first down and some potential YAC with the defender up top bailing. Instead this ends with a sack for a loss of 5.
  11. You can prepare to play in the playoffs all you want but if you lose 3-4 games there is no playoffs so his gamble will fail. In doing so he created a less physical atmosphere and culture around the team.
  12. No, because it will affect people’s opinion when they don’t see a more deserving player of the award in the playoffs.
  13. I retract this comment. The NYT should be ASHAMED of themselves for this article and should never talk this way about college football players who are out there trying their best for the love of the school they attend.
  14. It’s like people don’t think that Sark and Arch dont review all these misses in film review and stop the film to point out this misread or check down that was open. The film being stopped to point out things is literally the same thing as a screenshot. FWIW on the throw into double coverage with the curl open and the check down open as well Arch stared Wingo down the whole time. A couple of these were chosen because it shows he had the time to get the ball out but the result was a sack.
  15. Good post Bobby. Couldn’t agree more!
  16. Agree if we can stop the run we will win by 14 points minimum.
  17. This line of thinking is how complacency is bred and born.
  18. Talent level of skill guys doesn’t have much bearing on a QB making the right decision on a read or knowing where mismatches are pre snap. Arch could have all those same guys but it wouldn’t matter because he’s not seeing the field well and not making the right reads while forcing passes deep. Sure it makes it a little easier for deep ball but when that’s covered and he throws into double coverage instead of Ruggs underneath wide open or Najee on a check down it doesn’t matter.
  19. Practicing soft and not being physical in practice directly translates to games. The old saying “you play how you practice” rings true no matter the era. You are quite literally seeing it this year and this has nothing to do with experience of players. These are young guys straight out of HS. These are not NFL players. There is no proof of concept for Sarks line of thinking but there is tons of proof of concept for the other.
  20. Cj Baxters injury occurred after a whistle and had nothing to do with physicality. Brooks injury occurred during a game and was a freak injury
  21. It’s largely dependent on knowing coverage reads pre snap and seeing the matchups 4 to cover 3 or 2 to cover 2 and knowing the likelihood of the mismatch being either to field or boundary
  22. It was so awkward. How as a team can you not be hyped to get the turnover and get back out there.
  23. This was noticeable after the Taffee interception when they all ran to the sidelines and everyone from offense seemed disinterested in celebrating.
  24. Can’t blame Parr for transferring when he did imo.
