  1. I think there was 4 but Calicut may have been one so it might be down to 3.
  2. He never said that. He had a long post on this very site talking about how winning around 40% of the recruiting battles would be impressive considering the level of prospect.
  3. Phillips was committed here originally so that wasn’t really a true flip. Point remains. 3 or 4 members of a 25 man class were flips. That isn’t what I would consider relying on flips.
  4. They won’t? We will be at 20+ commitments by the time the ball is kicked off in Columbus. 3 total players last year were flips in a 25 man class.
  5. You do realize we had very few flips last year and the year prior, right?
  6. Who did we rely on last year to suck? Your act is better when you are weirdly laughing at everyone’s posts.
  7. Land one what? Land a player? We will land quite a few of those over the next month so rest easy.
  8. It is media/picture day for the current team and that is the backdrop. Not everything in life and on Twitter is tied to recruiting.
  9. Some of y’all need to learn there is a long runway between making contact with a kid and actually pushing for them. Texas probably contacts 150 kids a cycle.
  10. There were some big misses. I remember a lot of people being excited about the DL class of Ross/Bledsoe/Bryant/Swanson. The defensive class in general was pretty much a total bust outside of Ethan Burke and Guilbeau.
  11. You’ve now stated this on multiple boards in the Texas market. Not a great way to make friends. Let people do their jobs. You are the only who thinks paid employees of these sites are just purposely withholding information from you for the fun of it.
  12. I get what you are trying to say but Texas is spending $30+ million on their roster this year. People trying to question if they are “willing to play ball” is tiring. You can’t say you understand not wanting to overpay then turnaround and say but I kind of want them to overpay.
  13. If this were true, we wouldn't be in the current situation we are in. We are going to be fine, but this is 2025. We need to stop pretending like "winning" and "positions looking good on the field" is going to magically fill recruiting needs. If that were the case, A&M would sign classes ranked in the 20s every year.
  14. It's like praising Kenny Baker as the reason Justus Terry chose Texas. It's okay to acknowledge outside influence$ impact recruitments more than ever before, both for and against Texas.
  15. I don't think it's the worst cycle to only take 1, I think you make a good point there. But it's a pretty good RB year in the state, and we should have been able to throw a stone out the window and hit one. Not too worried about it, just will require some extra work.
  16. A development that may work in our favor with a few guys coming up.
  17. It's a big blow because of the current state of the RB big board.
  18. This is what our class looked like at this time last year: KJ Lacey Lance Jackson Elijah Barnes James Simon Coleman triplets Emaree Winston End of list. Not sure how you can say they are slow playing guys when they sit with 2x the commitments they had at this time a year ago.
  19. And we have 4 years of data points saying that is the correct strategy.
  20. You think the current 13 commits in the class committed for free?
  21. DT Caleb Banks at Florida OT Kadyn Proctor at Bama S KJ Bolden at Georgia
