  1. It's day 1, dude. I guess they shouldn't even make Mukuba earn playing time since he is the walk-in starter.
  2. Well someone needs to take it from him then. It’s not his fault he was the most reliable safety last year and is the starter to open camp. If the guys behind him don’t like it, play better. Jett Bush is just happy to be passing the message board walk-on whipping boy torch.
  3. I will pay your subscription cost for 5 years if Texas does not sign a high school DT this cycle
  4. Yes, I was more asking it rhetorically in response to something Sark said 2 years ago about himself being the GM, so there is no need to hire one. His thought process obviously changed, or he wouldn't have hired a GM a year later.
  5. Yeah, I remember that quote. He said he was the GM in previous years, then decided in February to create the GM position at Texas, so he had at least some change in thinking. What Harris does daily compared to other GMs at other schools would be interesting to know as each school handles the role differently.
  6. He seemed to see enough of a need to hire one 5 months ago. What does Brandon Harris do as the GM?
  7. Brandon Harris was not elevated to replace Glasscock. Taylor Searels does not do anything Glasscock did. The GM was a newly created role. Glasscock was the director of player personnel, a position now held by Jon Michael Jones.
  8. I have enjoyed a few cold ones while reading through you trying to blame recruitments on the recruiting support staff you don’t even know the names and roles of. All good though. You are probably on the righteous path to being banned on another site.
  9. The kid himself tweeted news coming at 9.
  10. Okay, DrPhog/texastwostepp. I see you deleting tweets of the same stuff you posted on here. Your act has been old for years and spans multiple boards now.
  11. Takes 30 seconds of scrolling through your posting history to know your act. I have a feeling I know who you are from a previous board and you probably aren't for long here.
  12. These comments are getting old. Not all recruitments are NIL negotiations. From what has been reported it sounds like there is a pretty important football component of his decision of whether Tilmon is okay going to place where he may have to sit for a year or two.
  13. It's becoming more and more obvious by the day you are likely a troll.
  14. I promise you don't have to go through life being miserable. It's going to be okay. Dallas Wilson is only another 5-star WR so wipe up the tears.
  15. lol you are patting Brian Kelly on the back for hiring a JV defensive coaching staff complete with a cornerbacks coach who had never coached above high school ball then realizing it was a mistake and firing them after 2 years? There is nothing similar about Steve Sarkisian and Dabo Sweeney. Let me know where the Isaiah Bond or Trey Moore or Matthew Golden or Amari Niblack or Bill Norton or Tiaoalii Savea are that Dabo brought to Clemson out of the portal this offseason.
  16. Please elaborate on Taylor Searels being in over her head. Interested to hear this reasoning. Could also tell us what Glasscock was in charge of?
  17. 1) Was talking about recruiting 2) I wouldn't call trotting out Kitan Crawford, Michael Taafee and Jerrin Thompson as your starters an increase in talent year over year. We'll see what happens this year.
  18. Which position coaches are incompetent?
  19. Won’t even be close. Texas is 13th right now in the On3 rankings with 4 five stars pending decisions and multiple four stars like Townsend, Brooks, Sanders, etc. Everyone should be more worried about filling needs at LB and DT than if the number next to the class says 5th or 8th in December.
  20. And D’Antre Robinson, Bubba Hampton, Jonah Wilson, Evan Stewart, Jamarion Miller flipped away from Texas. It works both ways. Why do we pretend like Texas is the only school who has gotten lucky and has only benefited from it? Again, when it happens 3 years in a row, it is more than just a trend. And if you have to set yourself up to capitalize on those opportunities because the other big boy schools know who might flip too.
  21. All 3 years they had a borderline top 5 class even before late the adds. 2023 had literally one notable late flip (Anthony Hill). Last year was an elite class even without Filsaime or Wardell Mack. They have won out for plenty of guys who just long drawn out recruiting battles (Black, DJ Campbell, Neto, Baker, Wingo, Zina, Akana, etc) Flips/coaching carousel/bad seasons happen every year so that is absolutely something you factor into your process. When it happens 3 years in a row it is more than just luck.
  22. Why doesn’t this happen to Georgia or Ohio State or Alabama?
  23. There is not one services that said Texas signed 6 of the top 10 in Texas last year or 5 of top 10 in 2022. Those are numbers you pulled out of thin air.
  24. Some ideas are better kept to yourself and not posted as a new thread
  25. The first class of Bryant, Ross, Bledsoe, Swanson was considered to be a very solid class. Many people seem to forget Ross and Bryant were thought to be top 100 guys in the country.
