Friday's SEC availability report for Texas vs. Arkansas
Why would he change QB's? The QB is the least of our issues.

Texas vs Hogs score predictions
Their D is bad but we have played bad D's and made them look like the best defense ever. Their O is legit and scary considering our struggles on that side of the ball recently. Texas 48 Arkansas 38

OU is Poverty
Didn't we do the same thing?

Steve Sarkisian on his future at Texas: 'I’m not going anywhere'
That would suck if true. Maybe that's why the NFL stuff keeps popping up, less work load and more time off?

Steve Sarkisian on his future at Texas: 'I’m not going anywhere'
Wasn't she trying to divorce him last year or something?

Steve Sarkisian on his future at Texas: 'I’m not going anywhere'
I feel like him firing those 3 would be scapegoating, wouldn't it? But I don't disagree with what you're saying in general.

Lane Kiffin to LSU
Why would his son enroll there when he wouldn't be heading to LSU anytime soon? He's likely to make the playoffs at Ole Miss. The move doesn't make much sense to me. Not saying you're sources are or aren't reliable but I just don't think LSU is the go to move right now.

Lane Kiffin to LSU
I honestly think he's going to stay at Ole Miss.

Apologies
What is there to apologize for? This is a forum for discussion, you're allowed to be both positive and negative. Praising and criticizing. Things are bad at the moment. Sark is at a fork in the road. Continue doing things the same or change for the better. Anyway, don't apologize, be yourself and don't be afraid to speak your mind.

OL to keep an eye on? (Portal)
I'm hearing Oregon...(just kidding I have no idea lol). But realistically, don't think they'll go after him. Another Texas State kid ended up at Oregon and is starting for them, think he was a T though? From the little I've looked into him, he seems like a solid pick up, one of the better G5 prospects to enter the portal.

Cool, let's take some of that and put it on display on the field this Saturday.

What is it that the kids are saying these days? BTA = Belt to ass? We need to hear some piggys squeal.

2026 Texas 2 Deep Projection and Transfer Portal Wishlist
Probably head to Oregon and be a stud there (I'm joking but also probably not lol).

2026 Texas 2 Deep Projection and Transfer Portal Wishlist
I think N.Umeozulu and Cojoe probably hit the portal. Unless Cojoe wants to move inside to RG (which he probably doesn't). I think Baxter has had too many injuries to be considered reliable anymore and Wisner is good but will either try his luck in the draft or not be the main back at Texas next year. We don't have a true #1 RB right now, imo. Moore is also someone I could see trying his luck in the NFL regardless. Probably see a few other guys hit the portal, like Roberson and potentially a few other DB's, imo. Not sure what Cruz will do, will he challenge for the starting job at C or transfer? Rev sharing is going to get some dudes in the portal and paid elsewhere, imo. As for what we need or should get. 2-3 G's in the portal to create depth/competition there. Our interior needs to get better. I think Bobby or Gerry has mentioned we need an over the ball DT, as we lose both Shaw and Brevard. That would leave you with just Sharma filling that spot. 1 RB, if you want to run 12 personnel some pit fighters at TE who will actually hit someone and block. Maybe an experienced QB similar to Caldwell again? Defensively, besides the DT I mentioned up above, likely need 1 LB, 1-2 CB's depending on what happens there. 1 S. Potentially going for another K and P in the portal, too.

11/17/2025 - An important date to remember
Problem with PK is he has too much reliance on the passing game coordinator to handle the back end. Similar to his time at Washington with Lake. I think he's made massive strides in his time at Texas but Sark keeps hiring guys that don't mesh with PK very well at all. Akina is a perfect example. Akina is a man specialist. PK wants to run zone. The result is as we've seen. It took Joseph and PK 4 years to get on the same level with each other. Not sure who you'd hire to replace him (not saying I want to or you are) but it's an interesting hypothetical. For the experience these DB's have, the secondary should not be this bad, disjointed or not communicate. Makes no sense to me.

Down with the God King Steve Sarkisian
I'm not sure where to post this or if it was even worth starting a new thread. But I got a good laugh out of this video that came across my feed. Already saw one Texas fan make a post there but most of it is OU, A&M, Georgia and Bama fans tearing us a new one for being entitled and all that. Go have a read and get a good laugh, this is really what they think of us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwdKbZCWb9M

11/17/2025 - An important date to remember
Don't forget that all the issues we see this year, were there the previous 4 years. But because of NIL and the portal, he was able to cover dis own deficiencies. Thinking that Sark is going to change his approach on things is wrong. He isn't going to do that, that is reality. He is what he is. Don't forget the two semi-final runs had a bunch of games that were close that shouldn't have been. We are also lucky not to lose 2-3 more games already this year. Having the fear of not being able to find a better HC if he does decide to leave is hilarious though. That would mean you guys don't trust CDC or Eltife to find someone to continue steering the program in the right direction, which is funny because everyone always praises them for all the work that has been done in the athletic department (especially CDC). I don't really care what happens either way. Just want to see a better product on the field than what has been put out there. Right now, Sark doesn't think anything is wrong just that we've been unlucky or whatever.

Sark to NFL Smoke…
I will say this though, if Sark does leave, for whatever reason, I have faith in CDC and the guys at Texas to do a great job in replacing him. I'm sure he has a short list already, for a break in case of emergency. While I don't think he's going anywhere, there is definitely some smoke around it. With the poor play on the field, combined with rumours, it's always going to cause issues. I don't know, I just want them to finish off the season with 2 wins but who knows what team is going to show up.

College coaching carousel 2025: It's going to be wild
I personally think it's the only hire that makes sense for them. He's from that general area, he's still a good coach despite all the nonsense around him and I think he would do well there. Otherwise you're going to have to take a chance on a guy like Hartline or similar type of thing.

100% agree.

College coaching carousel 2025: It's going to be wild
This is actually a good fit for him. Not very high expectations, he recruited Virginia a lot and he's still a great HC just couldn't do well in the big time games.

Sark to NFL Smoke…
Look rumours like this are always going to come up, it's the nature of clickbait media to do so. But there has been talk about him wanting to go to the NFL but I don't think he's ready for it yet and I also don't think he wants to leave without getting over the hump. Then again, what the hell do I know? LOL.

Recruiting - could be some interesting news
Another option is Durham if he's interested, over at LSU. I think if Florida hires Kiffin, there's almost zero chance Baugh leaves for Texas. But there will need to be some serious discussions had at the end of the year with coaches and players.

Recruiting - could be some interesting news
Baugh wouldn't come to Texas if he left Florida, he's more likely to head back to Georgia than further away to Texas. Coleman would be nice but also very unrealistic, considering what they're paying for the guys in the WR now. So you either gotta let some of those guys go, otherwise it makes no sense for them to go after Coleman. Not that I disagree, just looking at it realistically.
