  1. I find it funny that they will only help him with his addiction by allowing him to be around the one thing that has fueled his addiction - football. Sounds like they will only help him, as long as he plays for them. Apart from that, he's broken numerous laws with his gambling and it's just straight not allowed in college sports or any sport, at any level. People have been punished for less than what Sorsby has done. On top of that, for Campbell to compare the situation to Penn State is hilarious. Penn State got severely punished for those events. Tech got the equivalent of a slap on the wrist.
  2. I said this before but this is the final nail in college sports. It is now officially at rock bottom. It should be clear as day that he should not be allowed on any football team.
  3. A-Rod is the effin man. Came in clutch once again. Way to go boys, you certainly didn't make it easy on yourselves but you pulled through for the win. Super proud of the team and that Texas Fight never quits.
  4. I think Ruger did a good job. Two runs that shouldn't be there because of poor defense on the double play. I'd say overall he's had a pretty decent night.
  5. Team is firing on all cylinders at the right team. Just need to close it out now.
  6. I like to think of myself as a dual sport athlete. Armchair QB and Beer fielder. Not sure anyone is looking for that type of transfer though.
  7. Cherry on top is the boys getting it home, too. Congrats to the girls, great job once again.
  8. I just unironically started head banging reading your comment lol.
  9. Wow, we just landed one of the best bands of the 90's/2000's? Texas really does have deep pockets.
  10. If that happens, it will be the final nail in the NCAA, imo.
  11. Out of the guys jumping in, anyone you guys think Texas should look at?
  12. We really need to rethink these portal windows.
  13. Great to get the win but the boys made that way more butt clenching than it needed to be lol. I think Schloss is going to have some choice words for the boys after that one. Also UCSB played a really good game. Even without their Ace pitcher (unless I missed him being out there) they gave the Texas bats fits for most of the game.
  14. I mean people are live reacting to a game, it ebbs and flows. It is what it is.
  15. Boys seem super dialed in, glad for them. They're kicking ass right now.
  16. Lubbock Tech Soft Raiders.
  17. I think the biggest thing, is he isn't pushing his politics onto the crew at OTF he's supporting Texas Longhorn content regardless of political affiliation. I don't even know his politics and I don't care to. We let politics keep us divided way too much, differences are fine but the "you need to be this team or else" mentality is what gets us to extremes no one wants to be in.
  18. He's not that great of a QB but some of his most dangerous abilities are his way of extending plays and his toughness. I think he's overrated but the kid excels at what he's good at. Maybe at a better program with better players around him, hell even a better offensive system, he'll thrive. Look at what Chambliss did under Kiffin and he was a D2 QB.
  19. Why would we want to willingly play Tech? We'll play them if we have to (like we did in the Big 12) or in a playoff situation/bowl game scenario. But in no way, shape or form are they worth scheduling. McGuire got in his feelings because he knows his schedule is piss poor.
  20. I don't mind playing tough OOC opponents, we're not scared to play them even when we were down. No reason to change that now since we're up. But I don't want to play ND because they literally have a whole schedule full of cupcakes and skate on by during the season. Either join a conference or you should not be allowed to compete for the playoffs.
  21. I don't think many kids are Kelvin Banks level. That dude came in late, took the starting job and was one of the best T's in college ball for 3 years straight.
  22. Not to pile on the guy, but you don't fix addiction in 30-40 days. I've seen it in my own life with people around me, they relapse all the time, have to fight the addiction daily, etc. He's just going to magically "heal" in a short time frame and then jump straight back into the beast with zero temptation? I don't think so.
