  1. This is true, they got on board really well in '24. Nansen seem to bring some ideas to PK and PK did listen. Seemed like t hings got disjointed in '25 for whatever reason.
  2. Nansen seems like a good dude, solid LB coach and recruiter. Has DC experience. I know the question wasn't about recruiting (even though people went that route) but as Jeff pointed out he seems to mesh more with what Muschamp wants to do than what PK wanted to do. Wonder if Sark was telling PK he wanted to be more aggressive and it just never sunk in or what? I love PK and I think he was great at Texas. But it was clear he lacked aggressiveness and teams would just dink and dunk on us. I go back to that 2022 Tech game where Donovan Smith (who is not a good QB and had very little experience at the time) basically dinked and dunked Tech to victory. He ironically did the same thing in 2023 at Houston against us, too. Cutter Boley was the same with Kentucky. His refusal to command the whole D was also pretty weird but anyway, back to Nansen. If Muschamp doesn't feel he fits with what he wants to do defensively, I'm assuming he'll bring it up with Sark after the season and they'll assess from there. Otherwise let's see how they work together this year. Lots of good LB talent around both from the portal and HS ranks.
  3. @Gerry Hamilton Any idea what you expect the starting 5 to look like?
  4. I think they have some good portal additions. Still looking for some additions by the looks of it. My guess is they didn't want to overpay for Laya and leave themselves empty handed for other targets. My guess is they spent a bit of their NIL on retention, too. We'll see how it plays out but I don't think the sky is falling because we lost out on Laya.
  5. For some reason, a lot of the Aussie fans were at watch parties in Texas, instead of at the actual game. Not really sure why tbh lol.
  6. Bro getting up at 4am to watch Australia play terrible was so disappointing. They went 3 matches without even scoring a goal, lucky to even make it out of the group stage tbh. Anyway, that's about all the soccer I want to watch, I'm not a big soccer guy lol.
  7. Hell Miami should run through the ACC with ease. They're just so much more talented than the rest in that conference it's insane. Especially with addition of Mensah at QB. SMU seems like they'll make some noise, outside of that, what else does the ACC have? Clemson seems like it's a downward trend but what do I know? 2025 was really disappointing for them, they returned a lot and kind of just fell off.
  8. i agree with you guys about Oregon. They're loaded this year. Two big time Edge's, a top tier QB, a great RB, loaded WR room and they made some other great grabs in the portal to buff up the D, etc. It'll be a 3 way race for the Big 10 title, Indiana, Ohio State and Oregon.
  9. hey best of luck to the kid, time to go get us another S.
  10. That's how I look like when McDonalds tells me the ice cream machine is broken...again.
  11. That's surprising. A lot of reports suggested that it was between Ohio State and Texas, with Georgia being a distant 3rd.
  12. I'm an idiot....
  13. Wish my Aussie boys all the best tomorrow against Egypt. Hoping to finally got out of the knock out stages for once lol.
  14. Man I'm kind of excited for the 2026 seasons. Looks like all of the big 3 sports are about to be amazing.
  15. Ah right on, I didn't know that was a thing they did.
  16. Great stuff as always, Jeff. I'm curious, with Tennessee being our first SEC game in 2026, who do we expect their QB to be?
  17. Might be a bit of a stupid question, as I'm still learning about everything baseball but if he's a first round draft pick, is he worth pursuing? Didn't Texas get burned last off-season by two guys who were draft picks and said they weren't going, only to then end up signing?
  18. Disappointed to miss out on him but not unexpected.
  19. I'm just excited to see Justus Terry in general.
  20. I think Georgia is 3rd. Apparently the battles is between Ohio State and Texas with the lean being toward Ohio State.
  21. I was thinking he was heavy Ohio State lean but apparently Texas has put great effort into his recruitment. It does line up with his supposed commitment tomorrow and would be a huge grab and recruitment win for Texas.
  22. I hope so, but personally from what I've been hearing from the experts seems like it'll come down to if people in his camp can persuade him to Texas. I'd love to have him.
  23. You could tell Kelvin was going to be great regardless of where he went. He had that it factor. There isn't many OL recruits that have his "it" factor that can start from day 1 and dominate for 3 years at a high level.
  24. This would be a huge get for Texas but it seems like he's heading to Ohio State unless something drastic c hanges.
