    It's not Flood's scheme, it's Sark's. But on the other note, I love that for Baxter. Was a shame we had to move on from him but he just could never stay healthy at Texas.

    Yet you want to bring up Herman and Strong? Like that should excuse anything Sark has done...The fact is the O is once again not good. We don't need to go back to failed HC's to talk about the current failures of Sark.

    Just curious did you just watch this game instead of trying to point to a HC who hasn't been here since 6 years a go and another who hasn't been here since 10 years ago.

    The defense plays hard football. Every other phase of this team does not.

    I'm just giving my opinion but he really does think he's a great offensive mind and QB guru. I've yet to actually see this. He's had two of the highest graded 5 star QB's in his tenure and neither of them have seemed to progress. Mind you Ewers was a 3 year starter and he was still making the same mistakes he had made in year 1, in year 3. It just is what it is. The OTF staff have said similar before. That it's not that they disagree, they just know that Sark won't let anyone else call plays while he's HC at Texas.

    Don't get me wrong, PK had his issues. But he pretty much carried Sark during those two semi final runs. He had some bad defensive play last year but he could hardly be called the biggest issue. We hire an arguably even better DC and somehow the issues are even worse. Which tells me Sark wasn't babysitting anything, he's just not as good as he thinks he is. I don't expect it matters what CDC says, Sark is adamant that his O is great and that he can both be the HC and OC. He won't change his mind on that.

    What should've been a 24-3 win, if not 24-10 win because of some terrible officiating. Ended up in a 27-24 loss because of bad offensive coaching and bad play by your QB. Also bad special teams play all around. We fired PK because he was supposedly the issue. Got another elite DC and the same issues are still persistent.

    It looks like depending on the severity/grade it could be 1 week to 6 months. But I haven't personally experienced this injury. The worst injury I've had playing sports (Rugby League) was getting stomped in the eye with a metal stud from someone's boot (twice) and I got knee'd in the chin which push my teeth up into my gums and I was spurting blood out of my mouth lol.

    North Crowley put the hurt on Hachie. North Shore wins a thriller vs Summer Creek. Lake Travis falls short to Cedar Ridge. Pieper had a comeback win against Judson. Hutto blew a big lead against Cedar Park Permian whooped Lee. Longview survives a scare against Rockwall Lewisville trounces Guyer (Guyer turned the ball over 5 times). I'll say this now, I don't see anyone beating North Crowley for the D2 state title. I expect they'll face Katy. For D1, my guess is Allen vs North Shore. At the lower levels Gilmer upsets Pleasant Grove Argyle continues to look impressive beating Lovejoy. Not sure if Stephenville will go back to back, but they've been putting together some good wins against quality opponents. That's enough from me.

    If he really has learned and he's still here when Coach Sark wants to leave, I'd take a look at him but his two previous stops with any lack of focus on the O was disappointing. I'm sure he'd jump at the chance for a job like Texas but I'm not sure he'd be interested in taking a middle of the road type of job.

    Against. He's been a great DC, not so great HC. He makes the mistake a lot of defensive minded HC's make and that is not having good OC's.

    Raleek Brown, I think he's going to have a huge run in this game. Kade Phillips on D. Think he's quietly having himself a good start to the year and I think he'll make a big play or two in this one.

    That's just nonsense, a one off game like that doesn't mean it's the norm or anything can happen. Not sure why people have to make things up try and justify worrying about a game. We're going to beat their ass. It's that simple.

    I don't disagree with you. He played both ways and was an absolute stud for those championship teams at Westlake under Todd Dodge. I think PK and Gideon noticed that when they saw him.

    I think their D is a bit overrated. Georgia got up big and basically coasted to victory in that game.

    Need to not kill ourselves with penalties. Execute better on O, don't need to score on every drive but let's put some drives together at least. Stop putting yourself behind the chains. I can't wait to see this DL smother OU's run game and QB. Special teams cannot continue to be a burden. Spetic seems to be the lone exception there.
