  1. Stan Van Gundy: "You can't get into the head of Kobe Bryant."
  2. Never even flinched.
  3. Jerry West told Shaq that Kobe was better than him when he signed Shaq in July 1996.
  4. Kobe's parents are the only parents in NBA history who had to sign his contract for him because he was 17 when he became a pro.
  5. We need criminal charges brought against idiots who voted for Nash or Nowitzki over Kobe for MVP. Same as journalist claiming Soviets were better than Reagan in the Cold War.
  6. Notice, there ain't no LeBrick nonsense here, CJ.
  7. It's the "skill to survive" here, boys. We're talking greatest skilled player.
  8. I didn't know Kobe shoes were now worn by more NBA players than Air Jordan. Having said that, I'd rather have Kobe Adidas. I guess the real players don't think the media got the MVP votes right from 2000-2010.
  9. Kirby has bigger problems than recruiting with Texas, namely, his team can't seem to play well against any top team that isn't Texas: Alabama, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, etc. For those who keep saying Georgia for Texas is like Alabama for Georgia, it was one year, not eight.
  10. Sorry, Jeff. Like to see them go the way of SMU death penalty. After all, the Switzer criminals made SMU look like angels.
  11. I think Jeff meant 2000-2010. Even so, Texas didn't exactly dominate the criminals during that time. Hoping for much more than that. Not buying the Mateer hype. Watch the film. The guy's mechanics and footwork are all over the place. He's not big, fast or accurate. Criminal skill talent isn't exactly eye popping either.
  12. Mike Tyson overvall badass 1. Still not Raja Kobe.
  13. Mavs goobers whining about fat boy trade Doncic is like saying Indy should have picked Ryan Leaf over Peyton Manning. Fat never wins.
  14. Fat boy Doncic would rather drink beer than win a title. Pelinka hugs.
  15. Doncic biggest fat boy ever. When will Mavs goobers face reality? Saying fat boy for whomever is a bigger mistake for Divac for Kobe. HE'S FAT? FACE REALITY.
  16. Mikey got more calls than anyone in basketball history,
  17. I think there were about twelve NBA players in the game. That's 50% of the each roster. Four Hall of Famers. Jordan, Olajuwan, Drexler, Worthy. Not to mention Perkins, Doughtery, Michaux, I was eight when I watched this. Hug it CJ.
  18. Final Four. North Carolina v Houston 1982. Jordan Freshman.
  19. Greatest college basketball game ever. Bird v Magic. Prefigured rebirth of the NBA.
  20. How many times have the Mavs changed their colors? Have the Longhorns ever changed their colors? They change their colors because they want to separate themselves from their past. Hope they separate Cuban.
  21. Bird was better in 1986 than he's ever been since. Moses was the best player in the 1983 Finals. By the way, I'm originally from Virginia Beach, VA, just like Moses. He's like a junior version of Shaq.
  22. More proof there are quite a few cognitively challenged executives in the NBA. Adam Silver is at the top of the list.
  23. Remember watching The Good, the Bad and the Ugly with my dad around 1984 when I was twelve. We watched every week because it came on every week then. Dad loved Clint. So he'd stay up on Friday night to watch it with me because I asked him to watch it with me. Father served three tours in Vietnam. Reminded me of Rocky stuff then.
  24. Which takes me to nonsense talk. MJ and Kobe were skilled enough to score anywhere on the court from twenty-five feet and in. Brick gotta be within five or beyond twenty. Why? He lacks skill. Power, explosive, size. Not skill.
  25. Watched an interview with Chris Beard on an Ole Miss site yesterday. They asked him why he emphasizes the mid range game rather than making his players shoot nothing but "analytical" threes and lay-ups. He said the two greatest players of all time, MJ and Kobe, were greatest in the mid range.
