    Seeing Arch in STL reminds of Kobe saying he was listening to AC/DC Back in Black prior to game five of 2009 NBA Finals when the Lakers beat the Magic. Arch gonna be as good as Kobe.

    I was referring only to the lack of a requirement to pay the full 20.5 million in revenue share. I'm extremely dubious about the legal stability of the clearing house.

    A school is not required to pay out the full 20.5. It's up to them. That's the max they can pay through revenue sharing.

    I don't think there's any doubt the greatest college QB for a season was Joe Burrow. Next is Mac Jones or Cam Newton. Teebow. Maybe Nebraska Frazier (multiple titles). Vince beat USC. Doesn't make him better than the likes of those guys over their college careers.

    I was responding to what they did "at Texas." That said, I don't really think people outside of Longhorn fans would say Vince is a top ten QB all time.

    James Street was undefeated as a starter at Texas. Makes him better than Vince.

    Said it before, Think Arch will be the best football player in the world for a long while within three years. Means we need two natty's with him. Durant played at Texas. Nothing more than that. But that's a lot.

    Bobby got it right. Earl was the best football player in the world from 1979-1981 . Durant best basketball player in the world from 2015-2019. Scheffler best golfer in the world from 2023-. Could argue Clemens was the best baseball player in the world at some point.

    Eye test counts here some. Eye says Vince better than James Street. Vince didn't win more than James. Earl eye test says he was clearly the best.

    James Street is probably the greatest all around athlete to play at Texas.

    James Street from Longview. Earl Campbell from Tyler, TX. Throw in Pat Mahomes from Tyler. No other region can compete with that.

    I understand that. Vince Texas career wasn't better than Earl or James.

    Probably in the minority. Don't think Vince is really very close to the greatest Longhorn football player. Earl is the only Longhorn who was the best football player in the world at some point. He's the greatest. James Street is next in terms of winning and championships. Probably thirty or more better than Vince in the NFL. Vince was the best player on the last National Championship team. Doesn't make him better than other Longhorns who performed better in the long term.
