  1. Where's Quinn's official declaration?
  2. That call don't mean nothing. I hope Arch took the loss to Ohio State personally, like Kobe took the loss to the Spurs personally in 1999.
  3. I'd much rather keep Blue than Bond. Blue makes plays and scores touchdowns. He doesn't pout or quit.
  4. Wingo can more than replace Bond. Another spring in the playbook and conditioning with Becton will work wonders. Get him, Livingstone, Moore and a freshman or two on the same page with Arch, and production will follow. If you can get a speed guy in the portal, fine, but there's enough talent already.
  5. Sure it's a variation of the WR diva deal. It seemed pretty obvious in the A&M and SEC title game that he was either lacking effort or concentration, which wouldn't be the result of a gimpy ankle. His ankle was rolled again in the SEC title game. The last game he looked good was Florida, and he looked really good then.
  6. I hope Sark has Ewers throw it at least fifty times.
  7. Quinn produces more than almost everyone else. That's what Sark is looking at. He's not worried about "it." Maybe Arch would produce more, but Sark obviously isn't convinced, otherwise he'd switch.
  8. Quinn hasn't played a down in the NFL. As I said, he's been much been much better than Tom Brady in college despite Gerry saying he shouldn't even be drafted.
  9. No, defense was great as always. I love our defense. Point is that people who are complaining about Quinn in the red zone are off base. He could have hit a few throws. He more than made a few during the game otherwise. Georgia pressured him as much as they did first time, but he responded this time. He moved up in the pocket and made throws. He scrambled out of the pocket and made throws. He played well. We can't complain just because he didn't make every throw. He made most of the throws he should have. More than enough to win the game. Lots of drops.
  10. Quinn passed for something like 360 yards and a touchdown. Georgia QBs didn't. Quinn can't stop Etienne from scoring a touchdown in OT.
  11. I think Bert Auburn is the reason Texas lost, not Quinn Ewers.
  12. You think Quinn is the reason Texas lost?
  13. Gerry literally said Quinn shouldn't be drafted. That's seven rounds boys. And he thinks Quinn shouldn't be picked. With friends like that you don't need enemies.
  14. I remember watching Brady play in college for Michigan in 1998 when he kept getting his butt kicked. He wasn't even close to as good as Ewers is now.
  15. Georgia ran it into the end zone. We didn't. That's not on Quinn.
  16. Who was the best QB on the field in the SEC title game?
  17. I didn't say played perfect. I said he did all you reasonably ask. Do you think if Arch had played he wouldn't have missed any throws? I want Arch, but you can't just cherry pick and claim its all crap. Quinn moved the damn ball up and down the field. He should have helped us score more points. But, damn, he's the reason we had 400 yards offense.
  18. How bout video of the twenty throws that were right on the money? https://www.instagram.com/secnetwork/p/DDSxmcXyvHT/?img_index=1
  19. Was it three or four of them that have ASU beating Texas? I think these guys might be a little light in the britches.
  20. I'll add that in the past you could call out pansies. I'm not talking about Gerry. He ain't no pansy.
  21. Fight? Ain't no fight. Reminds me of dealing with pansies from Canada on the Cormac McCarthy board in 2007.
  22. Good news is that if we can beat Oregon or Ohio State in the semi-finals, we should win the national title. Beck's out. I can't imagine Stockton beating Texas if we game plan for him.
  23. We've lost two regular season games over the last two years with Quinn as our QB. Harping on the red zone against Georgia doesn't change that. Quinn was our best player against Georgia. He did everything that anyone could reasonably ask. Look at the all 22 in the red zone and explain where he screwed up. He didn't. Georgia's good. He made plays repeatedly.
  24. I repeat. Quinn threw a perfect pass to Golden that should have been a touchdown. Saying "red zone" over and over doesn't change that. Sark admitted he should have helped Quinn out more in the red zone. Again, Quinn was the only reason we moved the ball. It sure as hell wasn't the run game. He was under pressure the whole game and delivered more often than not. We can admit Quinn isn't the greatest while also recognizing he's pretty damn good. I wish Arch had been inserted as the starter after the second bye. Sark didn't do it. We can win the natty with Quinn if our kicker can make a forty yard field goal.
