Unfortunately they’re citing Chip here lol. For what it’s worth, the On3 Florida mods don’t seem too optimistic on keeping him lately.

Pete Nakos said there's a 50-50 chance he enters the portal... Said that Sumrall is gonna meet next week with him...
I say let's hope that Baugh makes a decision before that. The longer he drags it out the less I feel like we're gonna get him.

I just don’t understand why he wouldn’t enter the portal, he can make more money to go play on a better team. Decision seems easy enough

Isn’t talking to agents the loophole around tampering? How are teams speaking to Baugh if he doesn’t have an agent? It’s been reported in some places that Texas has offered him a significant NIL package

Texas has not offered him an NIL package. Those reports are erroneous.

There are agents and then there are friends of friends. But no offer as yet.

The Florida collective told its folks yesterday Texas offered 1.5m. That’s patently untrue.

Wish Chip Brown wouldn’t have posted this.  Doesn’t look good when a mod that writes for 1 school posts that player from another school is going to enter the portal.

Expect the unexpected.  Bobby has said there are several starting options being considered.  All of us on the outside will not know till post Jan 2nd so relax and ask Santa for the best one!
