Rillo HOOK EM Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago As someone who was a sportscaster for more than 15 years, I can honestly say I look nowhere else for my Longhorn news. I’ve been here since the beginning and it’s been a pleasure watching the product grow. Bobby leads the most professional, knowledgeable, full of integrity and character staff in the biz. I love that you protect your sources and the players, aren’t worried about being first all the time, only as accurate as possible. Doing live “TV” will always have its moments of getting off track, but you guys do a great job of keeping it fun while also staying on topic. I love to see you guys get frustrated just like all of us. Whether we went to school at UT or are just life long fans, we all bleed burnt orange…. Even the dollar subs.. 10 Quote

PaulieD Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Coverage is great - and down to earth. These times are undoubtedly the hardest to cover, predict, etc. You guys do a fantastic job of presenting 'just the facts'. 2 Quote
Dread-headed Texan Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Guys the question wasn't asked to find out if they're doing well or not. That's not the purpose of surveys, they have access to growth and retention numbers so they already know they're doing well enough. If you're not voicing dislikes or jokingly do so then how can they improve their product? I know someone is going to read my comment and say, "well Dread where's your reply"? I haven't submitted it yet because I want it to be thoughtful and true and not fluff. 1 1 Quote
Brian Hickey Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) I would love to see some X’sand O’s breakdowns with a digital whiteboard to help us understand coverages and responsibilities. I would also love to see game film and plays broken down like this. Help me understand WHY a play or concept worked. Edited 4 hours ago by Brian Hickey 4 2 Quote

Maybe 1 show a week where they quickly summarize how all the other Longhorns teams are doing. I would def listen. Edited 4 hours ago by Paul L 2 Quote
Paul L Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I wonder if there is a way you could put on a corn dog eating contest as a fundraiser. 2 Quote
AceHorn23 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Excellent coverage and a great group of people doing it. 🤘🤘🤘 2 Quote
Clifton Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I know I’m echoing what so many people have said, but you guys pretty much do it all. I look forward to watching this place grow. 🤘🏼 1 Quote
AceHorn23 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago @Bobby Burton @CJ Vogel @Gerry Hamilton With as many subscribers on here now, what about random giveaways during the season? Hats, coffee mugs etc... 😁 2 Quote
Jerome Gainer Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I was attracted to you guys via YouTube and I really enjoy that you guys produce a lot of quality content on YouTube. I was a long time (since 2003) member of another longhorn fan site but I dumped them because the message boards were so toxic. I've decided to give you guys a chance and one thing I would ask is that especially as you continue to grow, you try and foster an environment where people are treated with respect despite differing opinions. Since I joined after the regular season was over, I haven't really seen what the coverage is like in season, but I like that you are covering the portal heavily. 3 Quote
Pwood Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I love that I can check in daily and know that I’m up to date on everything Longhorns sports. I especially appreciate the mostly cordial interactions by members and the respectful way the moderators ensure threads don’t get totally derailed. OTF has the best staff out there - the info & knowledge I’ve learned from the staff and posters has made going/watching games that much more fun. I really appreciate the more in depth analysis of tendencies & specific plays - having obviously never played football, I’ve learned a lot reading and listening to y’all - thank you!!! 1 Quote
Jonesyfam7 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Like: Coffee and Football Gerry Bobby Rod B Dislike: Joe Z spamming every thread. I mostly skim threads for mod only responses at this point. The mods and their weird obsession with Joe Z in every video and thread. Gerry makes the same jokes about him every morning….its run its course. 1 1 1 Quote

FriendswoodGangsta Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I went from knowing nothing about y'all to feeling like it's part of my every day. Y'all are doing something very right and I think a good mix of good guys, players, writers, ages. All y'all seem very humble and likeable drink a beer with you kinda guys. I like you guys post so early for us old guys that start drinking coffee at 5 am. Feels like just dudes talking ball and hanging out. No true a-holes. Keep the camera lens clean is my only pet peeve. Y'all hooked me. 1 Quote
TexasMDcoach Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The YouTube channel is A+. Jeff and CJ together provide good insights and discussion. Bobby, Gerry and Rod together are always my favorite and fantastic. I love the guests you have had on the show, whether players coaches or others. Love the diversity on the channel. Appreciate Gerry’s BBall input and traveling recruiting updates. Having former player’s perspective is a huge plus, especially Rod and others at times like Brian. The site strengths are the balance you bring and Bobby’s morning posts, as well as insightful articles by others in the staff like CJ. Jeff Howe is a helluva writer, always a good read and strong commentator . Coverage of other sports is also a plus and adequately done. Like the baseball updates. Keep shining guys. Quote
Jordan91 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I have no complaints. Everybody does a great job. Every now and then we get into but it’s all in fun. On a few other sites and this is the best place to come for news. You guys get it faster than anyone. OTF knew about Goosby’s shoulder. Two other sites had it as breaking news. Some of those guys thought he was having reconstructive shoulder surgery. In fact I am offering to take @Jeff Howe @Bobby Burton @CJ Vogel and @Gerry Hamilton and @Joe Zura to a men’s basketball game. Who’s with me!!! You guys probably prefer a colonoscopy over that though. Quote

It’s all about being soft and flopping I’m good lol 2 Quote

Cody1987 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Maybe @Bobby Burton finally getting a moderators tag when he comments or reply’s like every other OTF mod, so it’s easier to find when scrolling lol Edited 1 hour ago by Cody1987 Quote
