This is going to be like watching a close basketball game.  You only need to watch the final minute.

He's going to bounce back and forth between Baton Rouge and Austin...........he just is.  What counts is what happens days (or hours) before National Signing day.

In spite of those facts.........let the panic begin.

He is going to have a lot of visits.  If you are gonna get worked up each time, its gonna be a long year for you

No reason to get worked up because no matter what happens this will come down to signing day

The truth is that we WANT these types of recruitments.  It means we're in on the right players.  The top NIL programs are vying for the same players.  I would be much more concerned if no one was pursuing Royal.

Going to be hard to keep Kiffin at bay. He's a great offensive minded guy, similar to Coach Sark.

Kiffin’s absolutely one of the best offensive minds in the game, no doubt. But if we’re talking better, the list is basically Sark and that’s it. They’re the only two guys consistently operating at that level - elite scheme, QB development, adaptability, the whole package. Everyone else is a tier down.

I don’t believe we have a chance of keeping Royal . Kiffen is on him like bees on honey. He he’s getting pressure from every direction. Seems to be enjoying the chase . Great player, starting to doubt his commitment. Guess we will see. Hope I’m wrong, but he’s visiting LSU so many times you would think he’s already a student there.

Always wary of kids who "enjoy the recruiting process." When you hear that, you know they're more interested in fluff than substance.

Really?  My twin granddaughters are top students and not athletes and they are enjoying visiting colleges that have invited them to visit - on their mother's dime.  If "ordinary" top students being wooed love visits enough to get family to pay for them why shouldn't great athletes enjoy the process even more - with all expenses paid, and steak dinners, and promises of lucrative employment.

At one flagship university's business school in the midwest the granddaughter who wants desperately to go to McCombs but knows how competitive it is to get in was greeted with a giant TV screen in the lobby displaying a banner of personal welcome to her. That was great for her but athletes get an order of magnitude more attention.  Would you deny your kid that satisfaction?
