It will be hard to close the gap on McGuire. I have a feeling this could backfire on LSU. It either means they have depth problems at certain positions or Lane is just telling kids who earned their spot to move over. Neither will go well in recruiting.

This sh*t show is going to blow up in Lane’s face! The man is an embarrassment to the coaching profession. Lane and Joey McGuire were just jokes wouldn’t anyone from my family playing for them!

Crazy thing is what Lane is doing is nothing compared to what their basketball has been trying to do this offseason.

This seems like it would be absolute poison/cancer to bring in a player like this at the end of fall camp for a team like ours.  Most of LSU are transfers so maybe they can justify it to themselves, but I have a feeling this will blow up in their faces for doing this….which could be the straw on the camels back for Easton Royal.

Texas will stand pat and roll the dice with what they have at this point.  Trent Hendrick would have been a great pickup to help with LB depth, but that ship has sailed.  There are no other players that could be added that would make this team better and be better than the players that have been on campus all calendar year with the program.

Miss me with the lawsuit crap. It’s AAU rules now. Kiffin is a good sound bite for many and I guess that’s why he continues to coach unchecked. The Cody’s don’t exist without the kiffins and joeys but yeah, let’s do this. YOLO 4eva!

Assume Burke or Taffee got cut. You wouldnt take them assuming they were eligible?

No.  I wouldn’t.  It would be completely counterproductive to recruiting and not giving young players a chance to play and develop.  If those guys can’t make a pro team—sorry—we have players lined up that need a chance to prove they can contribute.
