State courts don't have the power to tell the SEC what it can and can't do with its league. The SEC might not be able to block the players in that State, but it can block and punish LSU if it remains in the league. Like the B12 teams that refused to play Tech, every SEC team should do the same with LSUe, and the SEC could count the forfeited game as a non-game. To balance it out, they could drop a game from each SEC schedule if the CFP committee granted them an exemption based on the unusual circumstances.

True, but there are two SEC teams here and a Louisiana judge made a similar ruling.  Three teams of the SEC are definitely included now in those rulings.  I think the SEC and the NCAA need to appeal those quickly and try to get into federal court.

I knew Sankey would have no backbone. Tell them to kick rocks, what right do they have to stick their nose into something that doesn't concern them? I bet he won't even follow through with the punishments either.

SEC presidents need to vote to get rid of him and get someone better.

I don't think either Texas or A&M are participating in this nonsense. LSUe is the only bad actor right now, so what a judge does in Texas means nothing to the SEC.

The conference has a rule that you cannot transfer to another conference school. The judge did not address that. League stays in compliance and still gets to enfore their rules.

As soon as I thought they were tying the bow on the season and they do this. Lane Kiffin and Will Wade are really doing a disservice to collegiate athletics.
