The first official Texas depth chart of the 2026 season was released a few hours before Saturday’s season opener against Texas State.

Gerry mentioned Newman was having a good camp. Newman has only worked at right tackle to my knowledge, so it isn't a surprise. Cojoe is the No. 3 tackle regardless of what the depth chart says.

Will be interesting to see the rest of the special teams units. Some very talented guys who didn't make the depth chart could still make an impact - if they want to.

I mentioned this when this whole thing started, but there's a difference between staying in shape on your and doing what guys like Sikorski and Christian have been doing since January. I don't know that anybody internally expected Hutson to pick up where he left off.
