Wrong. It's bad optics for the leader of your program to express that a video showing violence, fake or not, is funny. He had to apologize, he'll learn from it, and everyone can move on.

I’m glad Arch apologized. He actually brought up the AI video on his own and proactively commented on how funny it was. He was asked about Sark blowing the reporter off, not the video recreation. Big difference.

What really pissed me off with this whole Sark/Holly thing is what Paul Finebaum spewed yesterday. Finebaum got a question as tohis thoughts on Sark not talking to Holly Rowe for the post game interview. He said Sark “treated her like trash”! His reasoning, he said, “Holly Rowe has done more for CFB than It has for her”.
he also said the Network (ESPN/ABC) he refused an interview with pours money into college football and therefore all coaches should speak to Holly Rowe or whomever wants a “minute” of their time. they owe it to the network! The special moment Sark was having didn’t matter.

My thought is this. How much money is CFB making for the networks. The answer…Enough that they can outbid everyone else for the rights to televise them and still make millions/billions.

How much money did the network make off of CFB Saturday night?
Now….who should be more grateful?

Yes, Sark should have maybe been a little more graceful, and Holly a little less offended. Read the moment!

Meme’s don’t translate to press conferences. I haven’t seen the video but it sounds like meme humor. Turning that into saying he supports violence against women is disingenuous and clearly designed to generate clicks.

That's not the same thing as a man in power slapping a woman and a younger man laughing about it, optics matter. Do I think Arch condones violence against women? No way, but the best way to move past all the bull crap was to apologize and move on.
